I am spending the day with my parents. My dad has been very sick so I am visiting him. He's in the hospital right now. He has skin cancer. I think something else is wrong though, but we have to trust the doctors. We don't have a choice.
I pull up to the hospital in New York. That's where my parents live. I live close by. I open the door slowly. I have never been close to my dad but he might die soon so I want to spend time with him.
" What room is Jeremy Bieber in?" I ask the desk lady.
" Room 405." She replies. I walk to the elevator and ride up to floor 4. I see room 405. I can't go in there. I cant. Ugh! I have to pull myself together. I accidentally walk into room 406 instead. I see a young girl about my age crying next to a little girl. The girl turns around.
" Sorry didn't mean to come in here. My dad is next door." I apologize.
" No, no you're fine." She says. " I'm just here with my sister. By the way I'm Selena."
" I'm Justin. Do you mind if I ask what happened?"
"No I don't mind at all. I'm here with my sister Gracie for a vacation. We were in a cab when a police cruiser without its lights hit us. My sister had her head on the door so she fractured her skull. She's in a coma right now. The doctors say she will wake up in a week or so but I can tell they're worried. " She finishes.
" I'm so sorry." I say.
" Don't be. It's not your fault. May I ask why you are here?" She asks.
"Oh sure. Um, my dad has skin cancer. I'm pretty sure he won't make it much longer." I say.
" That's too bad. I know how you feel. My dad died when I was ten." I notice I'm starring so I look away. She's so pretty though. No,nocan't think like that. I have a wonderful girlfriend. I love her very much. She loves me very much too.
" Well I see you around then. " I say to break the silence.
" See you." She says. Why am I falling for her? I can't fall for her. And besides I just met her. I have a girlfriend and if I didn't Selena wouldn't like me back so no big deal.
