Luna
They had ordered two large pizzas, one pepperoni one cheese, and some chicken wings which was to share between around ten people. They had been told that Kio was supposed to be coming back home because of this whole pandemic thing, it wasn't that serious yet but it was something to consider taking precautions for. Nick was picking up Kio so now in the house there would be Me, Mads, Nessa, Bryce, Jaden, Josh, Anthony, Griffin and the two that were on their way.
"I read this thing and I've never seen a spider or an octopus the same way" Bryce said looking at us.
"what?" I question furrowing my eyebrows in confusion.
"An octopus is just an underwater spider" He says.
"What have you been smoking bro" Josh laughs and puts a hand on his back while shaking his head.
"IM HOOOOME" I hear someone shout, it must be Kio considering Nick doesn't exactly live here "Where is ever-" He walks into the room and sees me "You must be Luna Nice to meet you" He smiles and gives me a hug.
"And you must be Kio" I smile as we hug.
As soon as the hug ended the door bell rang "Pizza!" Josh shouts and jumps over the couch to get the door with Griff behind him.
-after food-
"Bryce" He looks at me and hums in response "Where's your room?" I ask kinda awkwardly while yawning.
"Oh yeah forgot about that, follow me" He says walking out the room, he walked down stairs and through a little corridor then opened a door "It ain't the best room but It does the job it needs to" He shrugs
"Trust me this is luxury to what I was in before" I flop on the bed "oh god this is the comfiest thing I've ever laid on" I sit up and look at him "thanks" I give him a genuine smile as he stands there just staring at me.
"No problem I don't mind the floor" Guilt floods my mind.
"I don't want you sleeping uncomfortably"
He chuckles "the floor isn't the worst thing I've slept on... anyway im gonna go get stuff and set up a bed on the floor" he goes to walk out the door
"wait!" I get up and as he turns back I attack him with a hug
He puts his arms around me and hugs me back "what's this for" I can hear his heart beating
"for everything you've done and what you're continuing to do for me" he hugs me closer "although this hug is one of the best I've ever had" I feel him laugh a little.
I take my arms from around his waist and smile up at him then walk back to the bed. As he walked out the room I went under his covers, why does his bed smell nice.... wait never mind it just smells like him, Which isn't a bad thing cause he do be smelling good.
Now that I think about it when I was hugging him I felt safe for the first time in years, I felt like I wanted that everyday of my life... maybe I could just hug everyone everyday just so I can hug him, nah that might be strange. ugh I don't know. Just as my mind stopped racing I closed my eyes to try and fall asleep but as soon as I did every single noise I heard scared the hell out of me. I heard Bryce come in as I was just drifting off to sleep but as soon as I fell asleep I seen Rays face smirking at me as I was frozen in the spot, his fist swung at me then I shot up in bed.
Bryce sits up with his phone in his hand "you okay?" His face was lit up by the light on his phone.
I run my hand through my hair and sigh "yeah I just had a bit of a nightmare I guess"
We sit in silence for a second "you should get as much sleep as you can tomorrow might be a bit busy" He says as he lies back down.
"Uh Bryce.."
"mhm"
"c-can you lie with me, its just I'd feel a lot safer with you up here" My voice was nervous and a bit shaky.
He thinks about it for a second then gets up and I move over for him to get in, he gets under the covers with me and we stare at each other face to face for a second but I turned to hide my red face and within five minutes I had slipped into a sleep that felt safe and secure.
Morning
I woke up to find myself yet again face to face with Bryce and try to move slowly out of bed so I don't wake him up, I had no idea what time it is but I'd be happy if I could figure that out. I get up successfully and leave the room.
I walk out the room and go to the kitchen quietly "oh hi" I jump as I turn the corner and walk straight into Jaden almost falling, we both attempted to hold in our laughter but failed, I cover my mouth and laugh as quietly as I could. We both calm down "Why're you up so early" he takes out his phone and checks it 6:30am.
"actually I didn't know the time I just woke up cause I'm hungry"
"same I just had some pizza that I shoved in the microwave and now I'm on my way to go cuddle mads before she realises I'm gone" He makes a weird face and walks away to sneak back to his bed.
I grab a pizza slice from the box and heat it up, I grab a paper plate and and sit in the kitchen to eat it so I don't keep getting up and wake people. As I finished I go back to the room and see that he's still sleeping so I go out to the balcony and sit down watching the world around wake up, I'd say its round about 7 now and the view from where I was sitting was awesome, I just stared for ages at it taking in the beauty until "Hey" Bryces morning voice was raspy.
"Hey" I continue stare at the view, I felt him sit next to me and stare along with me but then I realised he wasn't staring at the view...
He was staring at me....
