"Rag doll, keep reading." Mr. Babbage warned her as Holly sighed miserably.

"Actually, the name's Holly." The rag doll corrected him.

"I don't care that your name's Holly." The teacher didn't care.

So much later, in the cafeteria, the students are having their lunch. They got food, milk and fruits as they sat in their seats. Lisa, Holly, Maureen, Verena and Mallory are in their table, discussing about Mrs. Forrester's absence and her substitute.

"I don't know about you, girls. But, Mrs. Forrester was absent from teaching." said Mallory.

"Perhaps she drank too much milkshake!" Verena thought.

"Verena! Mr. Babbage is the substitute teacher! And she didn't drank milkshake!"

"Sorry."

"Well, our day was going to be wonderful that we expected." Holly claimed as she crossed her legs. She saw the cheerleaders arguing about their plans as she greeted them. "Hey, cheerleaders."

"Hi, Holly!" said the cheerleaders.

"Mr. Babbage didn't say your name." Lisa took a sip of milk. "He called you rag doll."

"Well, we gotta tell her!"

"Who?"

"Principal Wyman."

Later on, Lisa and Holly went to the principal's office to talk to Kendra about the substitute teacher. Inside, Kendra is drinking coffee while organizing some misplaced books. She picked the red one with a matching red book and placed them in the same color. The principal noticed Lisa and Holly in her office as she sat down to talk to them. "What is it, girls, any situation?"

"No situation, Principal." Lisa shrugged as she sat down. "Where's Mrs. Forrester? Where she have gone?"

"She went to see a psychologist, Lisa. The school had to hire a substitute teacher to teach you." Kendra explained.

"No!" The two girls said simultaneously.

"When Mrs. Forrester will go back?" Holly asked.

"She told me that she will come back at monday."

"But, Principal Kendra, Mr. Babbage didn't want me to sing at class!"

"Yeah! He's a sarcastic jerk!"

"He looks different from Mrs. Forrester!"

"Exactly!" Holly stood up from her seat as she twirled her skirt. "How long Mr. Babbage will stay?"

"Girls, please." Kendra calmed them down. "Mr. Babbage was a middle school teacher until he quit teaching. He's a temporary high school teacher. Mrs. Forrester will be back."

"Yeah. We hope so." Lisa nodded solemnly.

"You got it!"

So much later, Lisa and Holly returned from school after learning about Mr. Babbage being a middle school teacher. They went home as Vivian, who also returned from school, is watching them from a tree in 1288 Skyhaven Road. Emma is in the living room talking to the Dean of the Spelman College on the phone.

"What's wrong with Cleo? Did she forgot her clarinet?" She asked as she put her hand in her hip. "How am I going to organize a clarinet band in the college if she doesn't find it?" Emma asked even more as she saw Lisa and Holly coming to greet her. "Just a second. Hi, Lisa! Hi, Holly! How was your school day?"

"Hi, mom..." Lisa replied as she and Holly went to their room. The two girls went to their room as they took off their footwear before lying down on their own bed. "Too bad that Mrs. Forrester is absent."

"Oh, come on. Probably a song can get you in good spirits." Holly pulled out a pitch pipe and prepared to play it. When she played it, she cleared her throat as she started to sing. "La-la-"

"Holly, no. No singing." Lisa denied.

"Allright. I won't." Holly threw the pitch pipe away.

"Holly, remember what I was?"

"A lonely girl?"

"Yep." Lisa replied as she remembered the year where she was a little girl. "I was a little girl without friends and I feel like a loner. But now, when you came as a birthday present, my life changed."

"Gosh. You caught me singing Breakaway in the bathroom when I was a little girl too." Holly giggled as she punched Lisa's arm playfully. "We screamed, we laughed, we did together."

"Pretty cool."

"Yep. That's right."

After they smiled to each other, the girls sighed as they kept lying down in bed. In the Amamiya residence, Maureen is in her room observing many musical posters of Holly. She is listening to Jan Pulsford's Fast Forward, thinking of herself. "Mr. Babbage...Who he think he is?" She said as her little sister appeared singing The O'Jays' For the Love of Money.

"Money, money, money, money!" She sang happily as she saw Maureen. "Oh, Hey, Maureen."

"Hey, Dina." She greeted her.

"What are you doing?" said Dina.

"Listening to Fast Forward, you know."

Dina sighed as she walked away. "You know what, I thought you were going to have a beautiful day."

"Yeah, I know. Mrs. Forrester didn't show up in class." Maureen replied as she observed a drawing of Holly in a picture. "Why, Mrs. Forrester, Why?" She asked to herself.

Meanwhile, Vivian is walking in the streets of Atlanta, after watching Lisa and Holly at home. She smirked as she kept walking and frowned as she noticed a little girl playing tea with her doll. Vivian reacted with disgust as she ignored it and arrived in the Gracewood Avenue and awaited for the cars to pass. After the cars had left, The girl kept walking as she made her way to Moreland Avenue before making their way to Montgomery Street. "Rag dolls are the stupid toys that I saw." She said as she went inside her house where her mother, a negligent woman named Gail Frobisher is cleaning the tables.

"Vivian! There you are! I told you not to go far away!" Gail scolded her.

"Don't scold me mom! I was just watching that girl and her ragdoll!" Vivian didn't listen to her.

"A girl and a rag doll? Vivian, there's no such thing!"

"Mom! Listen to me!"

"Ha! Listen to you? Why?"

"Remember when my father was like, divorced? He was there in this house when I was a little girl! I always wanted a doll to give me company and you said no!"

"Vivian Frobisher! I didn't have the choice to give a doll for you!" Gail put her hands in her hips.

"Ah, bag your face!" Vivian went to her room in a huff and sat in her bed. "Rag dolls, porcelain dolls, paper dolls. I remember the day that Nikki Trollope had a friend after I came first. Her friend is not a human. But,she is a porcelain doll!"
