I kept running, even though my legs felt as if they were going to rip apart. I must get farther away. I knew they would never be able to follow me by this time, but I didin't dare take any chances. Wind wiped past me as I hung onto the last few breaths I could manage, kicking my feet at the ground. I finally came to a much needed stop, heaving loudly. I sat down and got out a smoke, examaning my surroundings. Some kind of brick archetecture, most likely an old factory. I was sitting behind a dupster, which had no smell coming from it, or maybe it was just the lack of energy in my body. I took the black bandana off and lit it with my lighter, "Dot and burn."
I looked around, still a bit paniked. No body's ever escaped The Dots before. The where the most powerfull gang in all of California. But telling by all the greyness around me I could tell I've run way out of Cali.
Catching strings of breath, I stood up and started walking, trying to look for somekind of civilasation, all the while trying to keep the pen from getting too squigly on my journal pages:
The Dots. If you get in then you must be a freakin' God. Getting into that gang takes courage and a lot of gut, for most it's an honor. But not when you're forced to go in because of your brother beat you. I wanted to learn how to be tough. How to fight and deal with my own problems. To have people actually care about me. Both my parents dead, my brother was the only one left to take care of me. But he didn't want me. He never did. That's why I went in.
I was so wrong. Being a Dot is torture. It's like one of Hitlers camps. Only ten times worse. You mess up, you get stabbed with a burning poker. You mess up twice, you get beaten almost till paralisation. You mess up three times, slow and painfull death. They pushed me to my limit and much farther. I've never been more misarible than with them.
I was the first, and only one to escape. I made it. But many others didn't.

I closed the textbook and kept walking, not seeing a thing in all this fog. Suddenly I bumped into something, someone. As a reflex, I jumped back and got prepared to fight, then a woman with red hair came out, "Miss, please calm yourself. Detective Auburn Senela, SFPD." She calmly showed me her badge, and my inner Dot was telling to steal it, since, you know, shiny. I look up at her, "You from around here?" I ask, "I'll be the one asking the questions here, thank you. Now why don't you tell me your name?" She paused, as I let out a deep sigh, not sure of which name to give. So I gve my most recent one, "Stiletto."
