31 days was how long Alexis stayed unconscious she developed a fever from an infection they had to treat her with high doses of antibiotics
Boone had recovered enough to go home but he didn't leave Alexis's side just like the rest of the family they would split their time between being with their Daughter was fighting for her life also being a Premature Baby she had a fight but the one good thing she had going for her is her Family they won't let her fight alone

They all agreed not to Name her yet But have taken to calling her Hope Because she brought so much Hope to them

Boone was fighting his demons he felt so angry that he couldn't protect her or their child who is just as beautiful as her mama

Everyone was gathered around Alexis bed having dinner that Uncle Brought in for them to eat he went up to see his GrandDaughter with Erica , since He had proposed to Erica the day Alexis was taken and Erica would be her Grandmother which She wanted to go by Gigi

My nose itches was the first thing I thought of when I woke up I raised my arm up to scratch it but was caught

"Alright Pookie I think a nice shower will be good for you but I want you to sit and one of us will help you your muscles are going to be somewhat weak and I need to undo a few things "

After being disconnected from the monitors and the Catheter taken out
I was carried by Chase to the bathroom and placed in the shower chair my gown was already falling off me so I slid it all the way down and dropped it on the floor
Hearing Chase's breathing hitched I looked at him he was looking at my breast then at my belly

I looked down at what he saw and I see this angry scar sure it's healed but it still ugly
Reaching for the gown to cover up he grabs my hands

"Don't you dare cover up that beautiful scar is where my little girl came out and I will always love it for why it was made " Chase said

I could see his scars on his chest there were only two , the Whelps from getting whipped had all but disappeared
