I throw my clothes in my bag not caring what they are. I have 10 minutes till my brother gets home, I start to head out the door and realize I don't have any food thankfully I always carry 100 in my pocket. I told my friend about me running away and he told me to meet him at the "lot" ,and gave me directions, your probably wondering why am running away I have "everything" it's because my brother is forcing me to marry a stranger not just some stranger a stuck up rich mama's boy. once I get far enough away from my house, I stop running, and walk I turn a corner and scream "Ponyboy."he turns around.
"Y/n." he says well I hug him.
"where do you plan on staying it's way too cold to be out." I look at him and then it hits me,
"I hadn't really thought about that I'm so stupid" I really was.
"let's go to my house I can ask my brother about you staying with us" we continue walking to get to Pony's house somehow not getting jumped on the way he walks in and I shy behind him there are three guys sitting on the couch one with chocolate cake with a beer in a Mickey Mouse shirt and the other I recognize a Sodapop all the girls talk about him
"PONYBOY CRUTIS WHE-" The tallest guy I've ever seen says as he walks into The room he notices me and immediately stops I flinched when he screamed I should be used to it now but I'm not
"well this is Y/n and before you say she not my girlfriend she's way to old for me I was wondering if she could stay here" Pony says sounding a little scared
"I'll think about it" The giant says
"Well can introduce us"SodaPop says breaking the silence
"Well the tall man over there is Darry, Sodapop is to the left of the couch you probably know him all girls do ,Steve's in the middle he has an addiction to chocolate cake, on the end Two-Bit and he's almost never sober" I laugh at his little comments
"I'm Y/n" I say feeling a little more comfortable
"What's a beauty like you doing here" Steve ask winking at me oh god
"She ran away" Ponyboy says
"Geez Pony I can speak for my self" Two-Bits laughs at my out burst
"Why'd you do that don't you live on the Soc's side of town" Sodapop says after Two-Bits is done laughing
"My brother was Forcing me to get married" I say ready to be yelled because I I didn't tell Ponyboy that part
"Y/N YOU NEVER TOLD ME THAT" Pony yells I flinch and back up Two get in between us and tell PonyBoy to calm down Pony whispers a little sorry and I hug him and tell him it's all right we are all sitting me and pony on the floor the three boys on the couch behind us and Darry in his chair I think I'm gonna get along with Two the most he is already very protective of me we start talking about what ever comes to mind when to door opens showing a greaser about Pony's age so 14
"Who's this" he says sounding a little rude but his face say otherwise "I'm Y/n and you are" I say smiling he seemed a little scared so I put on my momma voice
"J J Johnny Cade" he says stuttering a little I pat the spot next to me for him to sit down which he does I look and all the guys are staring at me I just stick my tongue out at them Darry pulls me aside and tells me I can stay as long as I want because he can tell how much to boys like having me around we're talking when the topic comes up about my brother and why I ran away I tell them part of the truth that he verbally abused me but not the part about him physically abusing me to I noticed Johnny tense when the topic comes up I lean over and whisper
" Steve's got chocolate on his face" Johnny starts laughing and all the guys look at us
"What did you say" Steve says me and Johnny just start laughing more
"Nothing" Johnny says me on the other hand an wheezing and crying on the floor because it looks like he ate shit Two gets up and rubs my back once I can form words I say
" there's frosting on your face it looks like you ate shit" I say laughing again Johnny has his head on my shoulder laughing too
"At least she told me none of you even said anything what if I was to leave Like that" Steve says sounding mad but not scary
"I didn't notice" Sodapop says doing a bad job at lying Darry starts laughing when Steve storms off just then the only guy I wasn't expecting walks in Dallas Winston but everyone calls him dally he actually hates my brother guts I don't know why he looks at me and then at Johnny who still has his head on my shoulder
" who's the doll" I knew he wasn't asking me so I didn't answer
"She's my friend she ran away form her brother so she's staying here" Pony says
"Thanks for telling my whole life story Pony" I tell him I feel Johnny smile on my shoulder dally goes and sits down where Two-Bit was but Two was now on the floor with me and the boys we talked for a little longer after awhile Steve and Two left and we decide to watch a scary movie Pony went to do some homework so I was sitting in the couch with Soda the farthest form me Johnny on my right and Dally on my left half way through I look over and see Johnny's asleep Soda gets up and goes to bed and Darry went to help Pony with homework because he need help and I wasn't in that class so it was just me Dally and a asleep Johnny with Johnny on my shoulder I started to lean towards Dally form the difference in weight on my shoulders my head hit his
"I'm so sorry" I said trying to give him his space he just put his hand on my head and put it on his shoulder and ran his finger though my hair I was really surprised
"I'm gonna take Johnny up to pony's room can you help" he said sounding a lot different then he did when he was around the gang nodded
"Sure" he lifted up Johnny bridal style and started walking to Pony's room when we got there he stop and let me go in front of him and open the door which I did to see Pony still doing homework I noticed it was the stuff I'd already done

"And You round the 14" I said I looked over at Ponyboy to see him almost asleep Dally was still in the room with us I closed the math book
"That's enough homework for tonight I'll help you in the morning" I told Pony and helped him get in bed I told him and Johnny both goodnight even though Johnny was already asleep I grab Dal's hand since he was lost in thought and shut the door I walked back to the couch Dal sat on the floor
"You are not sleeping there" I said
"Then where am I going to"
"On the couch I'll sleep on the floor" he went and laid down I was going to sit on back on the floor when he grabbed my wrist I turn around
"Cuddles?" He asked
