Milo felt bad about the way he was treating Auden, actually it was killing him inside. He was just so upset and all he wanted was to spend time with his girlfriend. The whole reason she came to New York was to be with him yet Noah Centineo of all people got to see her everyday.

So many thoughts ran through his head, he was anxious and scared. He was afraid he was going to lose her to Noah or that he already pushed her into his arms.

The gossip magazines and outlets weren't helping Milo keep his mind off it either, all they did was talk about how it seemed liked if there was anything going on between Milo and Auden it was "over now along with possibly their friendship" or "Could Noah and Auden find love after they both split from there DWTS exes?"

All Milo could think about was what he should say to Auden.. he ignored her calls that night and now she wasn't responding to anything from him. No texts, calls not even a freaking Instagram comment or DM.

His class finally ended, he was going to explode. He made his way away from campus so he could head over to Auden's. They had never actually fought before and the fact that it had been three days since they talked wasn't a good sign.
For someone who hadn't ever been in a relationship before she knew how to play the part of the pissed off girlfriend really well.. Milo thought as he hurried up the stairs to the elevator of her building. People gave him looks, probably wondering why a NYU student was in their building because he definitely couldn't afford to live here.
Milo just continued waiting for the elevator the sad reality was even with the success he's had he still couldn't afford to live here but he could at least afford other things...like an apology.

As he got to Auden's floor he saw some people waiting outside her apartment.

"Hello! So sorry to keep you waiting it took a bit to get over here!" He quickly apologized letting them into her apartment. At least everything was running on time.
People had to make there way to and from the elevator as it was filled with his orders.
He ordered her roses, lots of them in various shades of pink and red. A chef was in her kitchen preparing their dinner. He even had a rental company set the table decorating it with pretty plates, candles and set out her favorite kinds of wine.

Milo's phone chimed, he checked it for the text he was anxious to get.
Okay on our way, you better make this good.

He rolled his eyes, Noah had no place in their relationship even though he had a crucial part in Milo's apology for Auden.

The only person left was the chef as he finished paying the florist and the rental company. He had never organized something quite so elaborate and especially not for a girl to say he was sorry.

Auden wasn't just some girl though, he just didn't even know how he got here... how it went south so fast.

He looked around and admired the pretty scene set before him, you think he was proposing with all this. He knew though it took a lot for Auden to trust him as they started this relationship and he possibly ruined all of it over not being able to see her for a couple more hours.

The food was covered up and he paid the chef, Auden would be here any minute. Milo stood by the table waiting for her to come through that door.

He could hear Noah from the hallway, saying something about how he was getting a phone call he just needed a minute to take care of it. Auden believing him walked into the apartment and was slipping out of her jacket when her eyes took in the scene.
She froze.. then her eyes came in contact with Milo's as she finished slipping her jacket off and hanging it on the hook by the door.

Auden tried taking a step towards Milo before stopping, her bottom lip trembled and he could see the tears start to fall. He was across the room in seconds on his knees hugging her by her legs and waist as if that would stop her from leaving him.

"Noah was .. in on ..this?" She asked as she tried to hold back the sobs. He hated hearing her ask about Noah but he nodded anyways.
"I knew.. I needed his help.." He hadn't even noticed how wet his cheeks were until now.
"Audie baby—"
"— No you do not get to call me that right now."
"Auden.. don't say that please don't.. you know I didn't.. I never meant to pick a fight."
"You didn't try to make it better and ignored my calls !" She went from trembling to livid quick.
"I know I'm an idiot... I'm more than an idiot. I hated myself for speaking to you the way I did, I hated myself for not talking to you and I hate myself for not being able to handle any of this like an adult... I missed you so much and I hated not being able to see you.. I just couldn't handle it." Milo broke.. Auden thought she was wrecked but Milo was like a dam and she was watching him as he burst.
He sobbed against her stomach holding on to her even tighter as his body wracked with sobs. Auden had never seen him like this and it made her want to cry.
"I'm so sorry.. I'm sorry.. please don't leave me I'm sorry..." He was acting like a child who's mother was leaving him at school for the first time. She ran her hands through his hair and trying rubbing his back and shoulders to calm him down.
"Milo relax.. let's just talk okay? It's okay.."

"I just.. I don't want.. I can't lose you Audie. I love you so much.. I know.. I'm a terrible.. boyfriend. I hate myself.. I'm so stupid.. baby please don't leave me.. I promise I'll be better." Auden fell to her knees as the tears steamed down her cheeks. Her beautiful guy was broken and she had no idea how to help him.

"Milo breathe sweetie.. you have to calm down... it's okay." She continued to stroke his hair and soothing shushed him like he was a baby.
"Milo I'm not breaking up with you.."
"Your- your not?"
"Babe it was one fight.. a stupid fight. You really think I'm going to leave you the second it gets a little hard or because you made me upset?"

"I .. I was worried that you would think.. this was a mistake. That I was a mistake.. and that it wasn't worth it.." He was calming down but still choking out words as Auden held him. Well he was more holding her, he had pulled her into his lap as she faced him and held his face in her hands.

"You have to give me more credit than that.. I know before I kind of ran away or didn't deal with any of my problems. Milo I've made a lot progress since then. I love you and I told you I was ready to give this a real shot. You're the only person I've ever wanted.. and I don't think anyone has ever had the guts to do all of this.." Auden looked around her dining area again. All the different shades of pink and red roses creating a garden around her dining table. She could smell the food and saw the table set up with cutlery. She was pretty positive that she recognized the wine labels from here.

"Am I forgive then?"
"Yes baby always.. come on let's eat this wonderful food you had made and enjoy some wine.. I think you could use a glass." They got up off the floor and Milo used this hoodie sleeve to wipe his face. He opted to just go clean up in the restroom when he realized he probably needed more than a sleeve to clean himself up.

"This is really incredible Mi.. I still can't believe you did all this."

"I guess I kind of panicked.. hopefully you don't expect this every time we have a fight now." He tried to make light of the situation. He just wanted it as far in the past as possible but he knew they would have to talk about it at some point tonight.

Auden poured him a bit of wine so he could try them to see if he wanted one. He found one that tasted more like fruit then the usual bitter taste.
"How did you even get this?"
"People don't ask questions when you swipe a platinum card.."
"Your mom called it in didn't she?"

"Wow have you tried dipping the steak in this sauce with the asparagus at the same time? That's good."
