Phantom Meets Justice (A Danny Phantom and Justice League Fan Fiction)

Chapter 5

 "Batman he's just a kid you can't just experiment on him!" The whole League had been telling him the same thing for hours but he wouldn't listen.

"We know nothing about him. That makes him a threat." Batman glared at them. "We need to find out more about him."

"So you're saying he's guilty until proven innocent?" Superman countered.

Batman looked at him "If that's what it takes..."

"But he saved my life!" Hawk Girl stepped up "Surely that proves he only had good intentions!"

He shook his head "The boy is still in possession of a supervillain and we need to know where he has taken him."

Suddenly Martian Manhunter felt another presence in the room. Telepathically he warned the others. Batman glanced at Flash who went to see if the boy was still in his room. When he came back and shook his head they all became worried.

"Show yourself!" Batman yelled.

~time skip~

Well, the cat was out of the bag. Danny had no other choice. He made sure he was dressed as Phantom then became visible right behind Flash. "BOO!" he let out a very girly scream and ran to hide behind Green Lantern. Danny started laughing hysterically which caught them off guard.

"What's wrong it looks like..." he continued to giggle "you've seen a ghost!!!" he started laughing again and at this point, the League had no idea what was going on. He finally calmed himself down a bit and wiped a tear from his eye. "Hi!" he held out his hand to Superman "I'm Danny!" he had heard what Batman said about him and he wasn't crazy about being hunted by the world's greatest detective. He just had to play things cool and tell them what they wanted to hear so that they would let them leave.

Superman cautiously took his hand and shook it "Hi... Danny... I'm Superman."

The smile never left Danny's face "Well duh! Everyone knows who you are!" even though he was slightly terrified for his life he was still having a blast. Danny was shaking hands with Superman! If only Tucker was here to see this.

Wonder Woman chuckled "He's got you there." She looked back at Danny "Well as you know I'm Wonder Woman but if you'd like you can call me Diana." Batman gave her a 'what the heck are you doing telling him your identity' glare, but she ignored it. "Welcome to the Watchtower Danny."

He nodded and pretended to look around a bit. (As if he hadn't already had a tour of the place. Flash's room sure was messy.) "Nice place you got here."

"What are you?!" The Leaguers glared at Batman's tone.

Danny smiled over at him. Just play it cool "Well I said my name was Danny. What was it you wanted to know?"

"Why are you like... that!" he gestured to Danny's whole body.

Danny looked at himself and pretended to try and figure out what he was talking about. Suddenly he got an idea. Just tell the truth! If he could sell them on it hopefully they would buy what he said and he could get out of there and go find his friends. "You mean why am I a ghost? Well, that's a bit insensitive don't you think? I died obviously."

The whole room became dead silent. It started to make Danny uncomfortable. "Um... you guys ok?"

"Y-you're dead?" Flash stuttered.

Danny thought in his head "Yes I do believe I might have mentioned that. Well, this has been fun and all but do you guys think maybe I can go home now?"

They were all about to say yes when Batman stopped them "Why should we believe you?"

Danny sighed. This would be harder than he thought. "Well... I can do this..." he floated a couple of inches of the ground.

Batman glared at him "Literally the majority of people in this tower can do that trick and none of them are dead. What else you got?"

"Um..." Danny held out his hand and made an ice crystal "Ta-da?"

"So you have frost powers. That doesn't make you a ghost. What else"
