Oliver ran through the wood of Lian Yu as fast as he legs would carry him. he had left right after the funeral. He just couldn't stand he sight of the city he had failed.

"Are you sure this is safe!?" Felicity yelled as she held tightly onto the seat of the plane. "Yes! Well, mostly." Lyla yelled back over the sound of the small plane. "Mostly!?" Felicity yelped. "Thats comforting."

Oliver broke through the dense trees of the jungle to the beach. He spotted the tiny plane and his thoughts were confirmed. They had come for him. He knew they would. But that didn't change the fact that he had decided he was never going back. He ran back into the tree line and waited for them.

"Okay Felicity." Lyla said, standing up. "Its time." "Time for what!?" Felicity asked still holding on hard to the seat. Lyla held up the parachute she had packed. "What!?" Felicity yelled. "You said that was just in case!" "Yeah, in case we made it." Lyla deadpanned as she put the parachute on.
"No way!" Felicity yelled. "There is no way you are getting me to jump out of this plane!" "Do you want to find Oliver or not!?" Felicity grunted and slowly stood up from he chair.

Lyla finished fastening the parachute on them both a few minutes later. "You ready?" She asked Felicity. "No!" Felicity yelled over the roar of the plane. "On 3!" Lyla yelled back. "Okay.." Felicity said. Preparing herself. "3!" Lyla yelled jumping out.

Felicity yelled the whole way down. When they finally did make down, Lyla had just enough time to unfasten Felicity from the parachute before Felicity started throwing up.

"Thanks for waiting until we landed." Lyla said, with a smile. "No problem." Felicity said sarcastically as she finished emptying the contents of her stomach.

Lyla began walking in through the tree line with Felicity not far behind her. Suddenly, Lyla heard a loud gasp from Felicity followed by her calling out, "Lyla!?" Lyla whirled around to see Felicity had stepped on a landmine. "Okay. Dont move." Lyla said as calmly as she could as she came closer to Felicity to examine the bomb.

Suddenly a voice came from the tree tops."Lyla! Back away!" Lyla looked up to see none other than Oliver Queen. She trusted him, and back away as he ordered. "Felicity," he called, "put your arm up." Felicity did as she was told. Oliver shot an arrow with a string attached into the air into a tree then swung Tarzan style down and grabbed her from the mine.

They fell on the ground with a grunt as the mine exploded behind them.

"You, you're very sweaty." Lyla heard Felicity comment.

Or maybe i'll do some one shots in another story... this one is running away from me... anyway, see you in the next chapter. ;)
