Bill wakes up with a jolt, causing his wife to also wake up.

"William..? What's wrong dear?"

"N-nothing.. go back to bed.."

She nods a little and lays back down, instantly falling asleep the moment her head touches the pillow.

Stan would've stayed awake to make sure I was actually okay. Bill turns and  stands up, being careful to not wake up his wife.

Bill makes his way downstairs and sits on the couch, holding the photograph in his hand.

Bill traces the silhouette of the younger Stan with his thumb.

Bill slowly rides his bike, trying not to tip over and hurt the smaller, more delicate boy that's riding on the back of the bike.

Stan closes his eyes, enjoying the sun on his back and the closeness to Bill.

Bill starts to speed up, hearing Bowers Gang not so far away. "H-hold on Stan.."

Stan's grip tightens instantly.

Bill stands up peddling as fast as possible.

Bowers Car is faster, meaning that Bowers and his dumb gang is right behind them.

Henry and his goons end up cornering the two innocent boys, threatening them with his switchblade.

Bill keeps his arm protectively in front of Stan, doing as much as he can to keep Stan safe and protected.

Bowers ends up beating the shit out of Bill for protecting Stan. He tries to go for Stan too but Bill does as much as he possibly can to protect the boy.

Bill leans back and sighs, the vision of Stan running in his head and staying.

Bill closes his eyes and crosses his legs, wondering what Stan looked like older.

After sitting there for a moment Bill stands up and drags himself upstairs to bed, trying not to think of his deceased lover.
