Daewon was mostly known for being a crackhead and hyper active kid. But he is one of the most caring person ever. He's always a strong shoulder to rely on and the boys admire that from him, knowing that even if he has his own struggles he would always be there for them.
Bear hugs
Daewon looked at his members dancing in the practice room, he has been into practice just before with the 127 members and was in a very good mood. The 99 liner kept looking at the two youngest who were stumbling at some moments and the way they looked exhausted.
"Let's take five." Mark said before drinking some water.
Daewon took it as an opportunity to go to the two youngest. He sat in the middle of them, taking their hands.
"Are you okay boys ?" He asks softly.
"Just tired hyung." Jisung mumbles.
"Don't worry, we're finishing soon." Daewon adds before standing up.
The two stood up, going into Daewon's arms before they kept practicing. The older boy kept an eye on every member, even Mark as he knew the how packed schedule was for them.
They went back to the dorm after the practice, immediately going to shower before Daewon took the two youngest with him in the living room. Jisung to his left and Chenle to his right, they cuddle as they watched Harry Potter.
"Thank you hyung." Chenle whispered before falling asleep.
Eventually, the three of them fell asleep with the others saying how cute they were.
it's okay hyung
The young boy has been noticing one of his hyung being distant, he saw how he looked stressed and wasn't smiling as much as before. In fact, Taeyong was overworked, stressed, in lack of sleep, worried and so much more.
Daewon thought he was the only one who noticed but after speaking with Johnny, he understood that the boys didn't know what to do to help their leader, and this caused the boy's heart to break.
He was terrified that Taeyong would break at some point, he was scared that the leader would be in complete agony.
So when the young boy saw how his leader was starting to loose his temper in the practice room because he couldn't get a movement right, he knew he had to take actions.
"Taeil hyung ?" He called silently.
"Yes wonie?"
"Can everyone leave the practice room ? I need to talk with Tyong." He says, worry in his eyes.
The older man nodded before everyone followed, looking proudly and worried at the two boys.
"Taeyong hyung?" DAEWON called time catch his attention.
"Where is everyone ?"
"Hyung, what's happening to you ? What can I do to help you ? I don't want you to struggle." The young boy said looking down.
The leader looked down realizing how worried everyone was for him, he started to cry as the taller boy held him.
"It's okay hyung, it's okay I'm here."
Taeyong kept clinging onto the younger one, holding him tightly. He then explained the whole situation, receiving gentle pats and rubs from the boy before the others came in.
"Groupe hug." Donghyuck says before running to his leader.
Black on black falls
Daewon knew how dangerous it was for them to perform as the stage was complete wet. He knew how it could cause an injury to one of them but the staff didn't seem to care as they have been rushed to the stage.
During all the performance, the boys kept falling, sliding because of the rain and it made him mad. Especially when he saw how the falls were bad, hurtful towards his members.
He knew he had been lucky not to fall on stage as he just stumbled however he was fuming after seeing Kun falling hitting his head, Jisung falling, Jeno falling too.
He left the stage after his members were in front of him, making sure no one would fall again. Daewon looked at the members going into the fitting room before turning to the staff.
"Do you realize how dangerous it was now ? They kept falling, they kept stumbling and you still made us perform !"
"Daewon, look-"
"No no no, don't even try to justify yourself. You could have take ten minutes to just wipe the stage, I would even have done it myself if we needed but you sent us there and look how the boys kept falling. I swear if one of them is injured you're gonna get it." He hissed before making his way to join his members.
The boys noticed how pissed he looked and didn't even say anything, he just needed to cool down. He went next to Jeno looking at him worried.
"I'm fine hyung." He said with a small smile.
He then checked on the others before finishing by Jisung.
"Does your head hurts ?" He asks.
"A little but it will be fine." Jisung answered.
The maknae looked at his hyung clenching his jaw.
"That bastard is going to get it." He says ready to storm out of the room.
Yukhei stands up quickly, wraps his hand around his wrist.
"Calm down Dae. Everyone is fine, don't worry anymore." He says.
The younger one looks at him before sighing and sitting next to him. He looked at little more calm but in his head, fire was burning and he was ready to snap.
He calmed down completely after Taeyong had a word with the staff, hearing about Daewon's behavior.
note : My baby Daewon is so caring and so ready to throw hands omg.. I swear when the black on black stage falls happened i was ready to snap my fingers like Thanos..
