Liam POV

"My name is Liam, L-Liam A. Goldenhart." God, I'm so nervous. I lowered my sight to meet with a turquoise eyes of him, the guy that I encountered a while ago. "Hmm." He said simply and looked down, then he flinched, making me shocked as well. I looked down, to see it's bulging down there.

Whaaaaaaat?! Why the hell am I hard? Wait, it's semi hard, but why am I hard? He looked up to see my face, with a shocked and a slight angry expression on his face. "H-Help me with carrying things, now!" He said and swatted my hands. I who was clueless and embarrassed at that time could only obediently followed his command.

I panted. To think that I need to transfer the whole set of furniture and some shelves back inside, right after I finished with my baseball training in the afternoon, sure is tiring.

"Hey, you." The guy in glasses called after me as he adjusted his attire. He seemed to be wearing a pair of black trousers and a pair of black leather shoes, with a white coloured collar shirt. He opened the passenger door, "sit." I obey him and sit silently on the passenger seat. Then, he entered the car and went towards an unknown destination. Let's just hope that it's not somewhere dangerous.

I sighed in relief when he parked in front of McDonald's. Great, it seems like he didn't intend to kill me tonight. Then he signalled me to follow him inside.

He is actually a nice guy. He treats me with McDonald's and drove me back to my neighborhood. I smiled as I remembered his kindness. Then, I reached my house.

It was not a big house, just a small house at the end of the road. The house has two bedroom, a kitchen, a veranda and a bathroom with a bathtub in it. Pretty decent I'd say for a student like me. The pay is also cheap.

"I'm home." I opened the door. As I entered, the door closed itself. "Welcome back." A voice echoes through the living room. A creature appeared before me. It is a small female fairy named Anastasia. "How's your school today?" She asked and helped me with my school bag. "Pretty good, the baseball practice ended earlier today so I hang out with my friends to build strong friendship between us." I spoke as I took off my jacket and threw it in the laundry basket.

"I want to take a bath. Is the water ready?" I said to the fairy. "Yes it is. Do you want dinner?" She asked. "Nah, just ate with someone earlier." I took off my t-shirt and jeans. The fairy smelled me. "Is it... The wizard?" She looked surprised. I smiled. "Yes, yes it is."

I examined the golden glass ball that I was holding. "Hmm, the colour is pretty decent. How much did you get this, Anastasia?" I asked the fairy. She was sprinkling the bath water with magic essense and lighten up the bathroom with some light essence. The dim bathroom glow.

"750 euro, master." She spoke politely. Then, she pardoned herself and flew out from the bathroom. "750 euro, huh? I guess people's belief towards magic is not strong anymore nowadays." I blinked at the glass ball and the golden color stirred for a bit. Then, I put it on a cushion on a stone counter beside my bathtub.

The glass ball that I examined earlier is a globe of souls. It has the ability to appraise our souls. Back in my time, this globe costs 4000 gold coins and there's only 3 of them in the whole world.

The basic color of the globe is colourless, like an ordinary glass globe. But it can change colour according to ones soul. The common ones are red, blue and white. Blue indicates a person of goodwill while the red indicates a person with bad intentions. The white one neither indicates good or bad will, it's a neutral color.
