"today's a new day." byulyi says to her assistants on each side, smiling at them.

the male assistant leans down to the female assistant, whispering. "is it just me or does our boss look really happy this morning?"

"you're not wrong." the female shrugs. "she even smiled."

the driver stops the car. "we've arrive at work boss."

"thank you!" the ceo cheerfully speaks, playfully pushing the male assistant, jin to open the car door.

jin, feeling terrified of his boss's new and sudden personality, he obeys opening the door.

byulyi gets out, signaling the female assistant, hani to stay in the car. "you may have a day off, i'll take jin for today!"

"oh, thank you boss." hani bows.

jin glares at hani. "lucky you."

"let's go jin-ah." the blonde haired woman walks in a happy mood towards the door. not wanting for jin to open it, she goes in.

smelling the fresh air of her company. as usual, the line of staff bows respectively to her. "good morning boss!"

"good morning!" the ceo responds. "keep up the good work."

the staff looks at one another, confused on the new mood of their boss.

"jin-ah, could you take my belongings to my office?" byulyi hands him her bag, suitcase, and paperwork. "thank you."

before he could say anything, byulyi already walked off.

"make sure you come to the technology's area after!"

hyejin pushes her glasses up, typing out a paper that's due tomorrow.

"oh hyejin-ah, did you finish the powerpoint?" her team leader, a senior in terms of office comes up to her.

nodding, she looks up. "it was quite difficult."

"great! send it to me!"

hyejin opens her mouth to say something but the senior left, making hyejin pout.

'this bitch is taking my hard work' she glares at the girl.

furiously pressing onto her keyboard, everyone suddenly stands up. the black haired girl looks around. standing up, all the workers bow.

"i'm here to check on everyone's progress today." byulyi manages to keep her voice steady and calm upon seeing the woman she's looking forward to.

hyejin looks around to see everyone panicking.

"i'll start from the back and continue up to the front." the blonde haired woman walks while fixing the suit of her tie.

hyejin stares at her boss, thinking of wanting to pull her tie in for a kiss.

"mr. taeil, could you turn on your computer." hyejin swallows down her thirst at the way byulyi is speaking.

just seeing her concentrating makes the whole view even better.

"okay ahn hyejin." the ceo calls her. "let me see your computer."

naturally, byulyi walks over to hyejin. giving her a small wink that no one couldn't see.

the employee nods leaving her boss to smile a little.

the older naturally puts her hand on the younger's shoulders. her arm naturally going over hyejin to point at the computer screen.

"why were you working on your powerpoint right now? it was due this morning, you understand that, correct?" byulyi's voice is stern.

hyejin huffs, scanning the room. "kyunghee senior asked for it."

"unbelievable, you're blaming your mistakes on others." the ceo scoffs. "come to my office, RIGHT NOW!"

"everyone, progress checking will start again tomorrow." sighing, byulyi walks away.

jin turns to hyejin. "miss. hyejin, please follow me."

"you wanted to see me?" hyejin barges into the office, face full of displeasure.

byulyi signals off jin to leave the two alone. walking over to the door to lock it.

"i'm sorry i scolded you earlier." the older grabs hyejin's hand, rubbing her thumb over it. "needed an excuse to see you."

at that, the younger softens. "it's okay, i did finish my powerpoint before and she really did ask for it."

"i know." byulyi laughs, putting hyejin's hair behind her ears. "you look cute with the glasses on."

before hyejin could say anything, byulyi leans in for a quick kiss. "i figured you would want us to be on the low right now."

"thank you." the black haired girl looks at the blonde haired. "for respecting my privacy."
