TONI WOKE UP THE NEXT morning from the sound of her alarm clock ringing. She let out a groan at how loud it was. Of course, it wasn't as loud as what Toni was hearing it as; she just had an extreme hangover.

The alarm turned off, and Toni's eyebrows furrowed. She slowly peaked out from underneath her pink covers and saw Stanley standing in front of her with a smile on his face. The strawberry-blonde was very confused, and she panicked at the sight of him at her house. Her worry slowly faded away when memories from the previous night flooded her mind.

"Hey," he greeted with a dopey grin on his face that Toni adored. She gave him a soft smile back before carefully sitting up.

"Hi," she whispered, raising a hand to her head. He let out a chuckle at her before handing her a glass of water that was on her bedside table. Toni sat up further and tucked her legs beside her so she was sitting similar to a side-saddle. She gratefully accepted the water as Stan sat down on the bed next to her.

His posture was stiff, and he kept taking occasional glances at Toni. He couldn't help but stare at her. She looked different with no makeup on and her hair a mess. He smiled at the sight of her natural beauty and wished that she showed it off more instead of using makeup.

Toni's brown eyes traveled down to the floor. She furrowed her eyebrows at the sight of the sleeping bag on the floor. She looked back to Stan whose cheeks were a light pink because he thought that she caught him staring at her; she did, but she wasn't going to make a big deal about it.

"Did... did you sleep on the floor last night?" she asked him as their eyes locked on one another. He glanced down at the sleeping back and then back at the strawberry-blonde.

"Y-yeah. I, uh... I didn't want to, y'know, um..." He didn't know how to explain why he didn't sleep next to her, like what he used to do when they were best friends, without offending her. "You just seemed really upset last night over the party, and I-I didn't want to make it... worse."
