Kellin Quinn walked through the halls of Royal Mac high school to his locker where he left a book he needed for class. He turns around when he hears a girl's voice behind him.
"Hiiii Kellin!" His girlfriend Sarah stands right behind him smiling, her teeth so white they're nearly glowing. She flips her long blonde ponytail behind her head and leans up agains a locker she was near.
"So why are you here?" She asks him.
"I just forgot a book that's all. I was gonna ask the same for you"
"Oh I just don't feel like going to class," she says while popping her gum. "Can't you stay with me Kellin? You never want to skip with me"
"Maybe I actually care about my future," Kellin mumbles.
"What was that?"
"Oh nothing"
"So are you staying with me or not?" She asks, starting to sound annoyed.
"No," He say turning around to continue to my locker. "If you want to skip then you'll have to do it without me. I'll see you later."
She runs up in front of Kellin and plants a kiss on his cheek.
"Okay, byeee!" She says skip-walking the other direction.
Kellin was so relieved when she left. He'd been planning to break up with her for forever now but he could never bring himself to do it. Sarah started out nice at first but she got really bitchy and annoying and Kellin couldn't stand it. She probably still liked him though, so he didn't want to hurt her.
Kellin gets to his locker, takes the book he needs and starts walking back down the hall. He really had to go to the bathroom though so he walked into the bathroom.
There was someone in one of the stalls and Kellin could hear him crying. When he looks down, Kellin sees that the shoes of the boy in the stall are very familiar. They're Vic's shoes. His best friend.
"Vic?" He asks quietly. "Is that you"
The crying stops for a moment and the stall door swings open. Kellin's best friend steps out, eyes red and face covered in tears.
Kellin pulls his friend forward into a hug.
"Oh my god, Vic what happened?"
Vic pulls away and says quietly "Calum dumped me..."
