As I walked alone I started to talk to myself "so Austin how'd you sleep?" "I slept well thanks for asking". "God what am I doing, ha talking to myself" "yeah you're weird " "shut up" I looked over and I saw a person disappear "oh my god I'm going insane". As I kept walking I kept seeing Hailey. "wait what the.....". Then she disappeared, again I'm going crazy, I can't stand being alone I was going crazier every second. It was just miles and miles of empty road. Hours and hours of walking I was so tired I was dreading every step my vision started to blur "I...I.....gotta find hai.. Hailey" I passed out and rolled into the bushes.
Morning came as I woke up to a loud noise sounding like " a truck" I sat up quickly to a truck rushing by. but what caught my eye was the sight of a familiar face "HAILEY" I got out of the bush and ran out to caught up to the truck. I ran and ran trying to keep up but I couldn't the truck was to fast. I had to save her, I tried to keep going but my legs gave out I fell to my knees as the truck disappear into the horizon.
"No no no I'm sorry Hailey but you're have to wait". I got up and kept walking
I knew I had to save her. The darkness had fallen upon the sky had I really been walking for 12 or 13 hours? I don't really feel tired. I had reached a town, I needed shelter. I had stumbled upon a bank I opened the door really slow and looked around to check if it was clear. I walked in and sat down behind one of the tellers and fell asleep.
My eyes slowly opened I looked and heard the bank doors opens "ah shit, can't wake up and relax for once". I waited then the footsteps got closer and closer until they were right next to the teller. I had my gun at the ready I was slowly rising until I heard a voice " hey dipshits come on we're leaving and grab something for the girl". Hailey! They're here the people who took Hailey, but I can't blow my cover I have to have the advantage. I heard the truck pull away I looked over to see nothing but destroyed houses and stores. Again she has slipped out of my finger tips.
