FERALS : Glacier's New Path

Chapter 4

Fire met with his hunting party: Stone, Fury, and Bristle.
Fire padded out into the woods with his hunting party. He looked back at his party. " Ok, Our goal is to catch some large prey. " He barked. Fury suppressed a growl of temper, " why don't we just seperate. " He grumbled. Fire looked at him, shocked. " That could work. " He Growled. Fury walked off into the forest, alone. Bristle grunted, " He's always grumpy. " He twitched his tail. " I wonder what his deal is? Like : Why does he act this way? " he Barked looking at Fire, Fire shook his head. "I don't know, probably something to do with being alpha. " Fire mocked.
" Should we part ways or stay together? " Bristle Asked, Tilting his head. Fire thought, Then nodded, " We should stick together. Who knows what danger might be ahead. " Fire Fretted. Bristle nodded.

Fire pounced on a rabbit, Crunching it's spine with his strong paws. He heard a disturbance of barked from beyond the fallen tree, and that wasn't far from him. Bristle looked at Fire, Urgently. " We might wanna check that out. " Bristled Barked. Fire agreed and they both bolted past the Fallen tree. Finally arriving at the scene, fury was barking at a tall savage Dog. Fury then turned on bristle and fire and Snarled. " Get out of here! This is my battle! "
Bristle shook his head in annoyance. " We aren't just gonna leave a small dog like you to fight off a Bigger dog like him! " Bristle Braked Angrily. Fury looked offended, then he lunged at bristle instead of the savage, blood thirsty Dog. Brist howled and chomped Fury's Flank and threw him off. Bristle trapped the little dog under his massive, webbed paw. " How dare you try to Fight your own Pack Mate! " He roared. The Slender, savage dog laughed. " What a show. " he edged closer to the two. " Why aren't you fighting me? You should be. I'll be raiding what ever pack you've got, that's not a threat. I will raid the pack... if you have one. " He snickered.
" After 5 Moons, your pack will be in Danger. " He growled in bristle's ear. Bristle Snarled, " How'd you know we had a pack! "
The Savage dog laughed aloud, " I sniffed out your scent and I watched your pack. " He snorted. " Every Dog in your pack will die. " He snapped at Bristle. Bristle growled low in his throat. " Why? " He Asked.
The savage dog seemed surprised at the question, " Well... you see. This little dog of your's has been stepping in our territory and Stealing our prey. I confronted this mongrel and he told me if I were gonna kill him, his pack would have to be drug down with! I like the sound of a nice blood bath. " He Jabbered. Bristle glared at the little dog underneath him. The little dog snorted and looked away. The Savage dog stepped away, " I Need to go. But I'll be back soon. " He Warned, turning away and bolted away.

Arriving back in camp, Bristle looked at Flame. " How'd the hunt go? " Flame asked, full of Courage. Bristle dropped a few rabbits, a large vole, and a Doe, Then Nodded. " It went pretty well. Even though our pack is in danger he looked over his shoulder at fury then quickly looked back at alpha, Flame. " A Dog approached us and told us that our pack would be raided because fury was stealing prey from their territory, Provoking them! " He Growled. Flame glared at fury with a Furious Look in his dark eyes. " Fury, Is this true? " He asked, Sternly. Fury grumbled then nodded. " Yes. " He gave a single answer. Flame growled and shook his head. " You'll be Punished by No prey til' The Next sunset. And you'll be on Nightly patrol duty until further notice. " Flamed Told Fury. Fury sighed and walked away from Flame to a Tree and slumped down.

Well, I guess our pack is in danger now... How will we solve the problem? Fire wondered, Drifting off to sleep.
