FERALS : Glacier's New Path

Chapter 3

Finally Appearing through the bushes, Glacier's eyes widened as she saw a tall grey, slender Female laying on the grass with wide sides. She was in pain. Glacier looked around the pack, there was many dogs. Camellia walked over to Briar, Nuzzling her cheek. " You're ok, briar. " camellia Assured her. " It's just the pups, they're ready. Come on, let's go to the Emergency cave. " Camellia Suggested, gently pushing Briar to the den. A little dog was following behind camellia. Shard Got in the Little dog's way. " No Branch! " Shard barked, " You cannot enter that den. Stay Out here, with me! " She Yipped. He hesitated for a moment but then he sighed and nodded, " Ok... I'm just nervous. " He whimpered. " How could I not be? I'm about to be a father dog! " He barked with fear and Excitement. Shard nodded, " I understand. " She laughed. Glacier lay down and huffed, Amused. Howls of pain continued to fill the sky. Glacier shivered, Those noises weren't exactly something any dog would want to hear. Glacier Thought, But I suppose those noises come from all dogs who are in labor.
The birth was finally over with, and all they heard was pups squeaking. Branch was admiring his pups and so was briar, but she look frustrated. A stocky dog walked up to Glacier " Hello. " he Greeted, " You know here? "
Glacier nodded. " Mhm. " She nodded. Sitting back on her haunches. He sat down in front of her, " My name is Fire, " He smiled, " What's yours? " He Asked, tilting his head. She smiled at the sight of his tilted head. " I'm Glacier. " She Woofed. He nodded, " Beautiful name! " He Barked. Glacier Barked " Yours is cool! "
" Well, I've gotta head out on hunt. I'll see you sometime! " He Yipped. Glacier Woofed back to him. " See you too! " She Smiled. She watched him pad away. He's Pretty nice! Glacier Thought, Happy.
