Will We Collide?

Michael's Pov

    Wow. Izy's car is nice inside and out. I mean..... I've rode in it before, but still. Izy's gorgeous herself. But I would never admit that. Ever.

    "So.... um-" I started to say, but she quickly interrupted me.

    "Don't. Ok? Just don't. If you want me to take you home, then fine. But I am NOT taking you to my house. Besides..... I'm not going home. I'm going to work."

    "Why do you even have a job anyway? Aren't you like completely rich or something?" I asked curiously.

    "Hell, I don't know. My dar said if I delivered pizzas or something, it would be a good way to make friends. Or possibly fey a boyfriend. I didn't agree with him then, and I still don't. I only said yes to make him happy. All I ever do now is try to make him happy. Or try getting him to spend time with me. Or even notice me. We never talk or hang out or anything. He's always too busy for his only child. Always. And yes, I'm rich. Isn't it obvious?" she says, almost in tears.

    "Hehe, yeah....... it's obvious. Hey, I got an idea!"

    "Oh boy, what is it?" she asks, while acting bored.

    "How bout you skip work today, and we go play video games or go go-carting or somethin?"

    "Why on earth would I agree to do that? With you!" she said, disgusted. She REALLY hurt my feelings now. Was I really being that much of a dick to her today? 

    "Because we're mates!" I defended.

    "Hehe, yeah right. The way you were acting today, I highly doubt it." she said, as we pulled in my drive way. And she turned her car off, taking her key out of the ignition. I have a perfect idea now, and it's one she can't refuse. So, I jumped out of the car, and ran to the other side. Then, I opened her door, picked her up, and slung her over my shoulder, then ran to the front door.

    "No! Mikey, let go of me!" she yelled at me, in between laughs.
