Rye's POV
2 weeks later
"Thank you Glasgow for such a wonderful night, we love you all!" Andy shouted as we bowed, the fans were cheering and applauding after we performed our last song, I wasn't worried. We got off the stage and Blair was there and he congratulated us.

"Alright boys, that's a wrap for tonight, great job!" Blair gave us a pat on the back, "Uh so um when will be our next show?" I asked him. "Probably next week, no worries you have loads of time to rehearse" he smiled at us.

"And yeah, since you guys did a great job, you can have the day off tomorrow" he smirk, knowing all five of us were going to do something stupid, we all cheered. After all the chitchat we had with Blair we decided to go back to the hotel.

The car ride back to the hotel was fun, Andy made fun of Brooklyn that he slipped during the performance. We started talking about how fun it was to perform on stage and how the roadies we're so supportive.

After laughing at the imbecile jokes that Harper and Sonny made up we had a brief moment of silence but that had just ended when my phone made a ping noise. Y/N. She just sent me a message.

Y/N Edwards
Hi Rye, I know you'd probably not see this since you're exhausted from performing. But I just wanted to say that you did great, you all did and I'm happy for you guys. Anyways I just wanted to say I miss you, take care always, love you!

A smile formed in my lips when I read the word I love you, I know it might cringe other people since we both say that but she only occasionally says that word. The guys noticed me smiling at my phone then Andy quickly snatches it from my hands.

He starts reading it out loud which caused me to shake my head in embarrassment. The guys said a few 'awes' then pressed the FaceTime button.

"Hi Y/N! It's Andy I kinda stole Rye's phone to FaceTime you" he greeted her, she starts chucking at his foolish attitude, then he quickly turns the camera to us. We all waved at the phone.

"You guys did great! I'm proud of you" Y/N says, we all thanked her. After they had a little chat with her Andy returned the phone to me.

"Hi love" I say to her. "How's life back at home?" I asked curious about how her day went. "Oh it was fun, me and the twins played football a while ago at first they didn't believe I used to play that sport, now they're begging me that we would play another game tomorrow" She laugh, damn I miss that laugh.

I laugh along with her, "How did you manage to play it, it's two on one?" I chuckled, "Oh I made it possible, I invited my best friend over and let's just say smashed the twins" She says in a successful tone.

I just smiled at how her day went, "That sounds great, love, I'm glad you and the twins are having a great time" I say. "What about you? How was the concert?" She asks.

"Oh it was fine. Meet and great was awesome, I got to met some of my old friends back then." I say remembering the event that happened earlier.

Y/N's POV
Two weeks has passed since Rye left for tour. Believe me those two weeks without him was a torture. A while ago I played football with the twins.

Their skills was outstanding, I can barely even score a point. Yes I play football and a lot more of sports that might come in handy in the future.

I invited my best friend over to play football and believe it or not she also said the same thing those kids has a great passion for football.

Steph is an old friend of mine we were neighbours, basically we grew up together. Same school, same group of friends and even play the same sport.

Anyways me and Rye are still talking and I could see he was tired.

"Hey Rye, you need some sleep you really look tired" I say concern about him. "No worries, Blair gave us a day off tomorrow, he says since we did a great job, we get to have a little bonding time with the guys" He laughs it off then starts yawning again.

"Okay- be safe there, I think I'll turn in and so do you" I say as I felt myself yawn. "Alright love, be safe  always, two more weeks and I'll be home" he says trying to cheer me up.

"I can't wait, alright, goodnight Rye, love you and miss you." I say. "Goodnight darling sleep tight, I'll be dreaming of you with all my might" he chuckled.

As soon as we said our goodnight's I pressed the end button of FaceTime I ended it so early since I knew he was tired from the performance. Two more weeks and he'll be home, god I can't wait for that day.

I put of my airpods and pressed the play button on Spotify, I wasn't worried.

I started to drift of to sleep, my mind slipping into another reality. A dream. My dream was quite different, I saw a lot of people there, Andy, Sonny, Harper, Brooklyn but where's Rye?

And we'll be 47, 87 all of our lives,
I wasn't worried,
Cause' i knew you were mine.

I looked around looking for him, but he was nowhere to be found. I started to panic knowing he was missing. Why'd you leave? Why'd you go? When you leave? Where'd you go?

I jolted awake with tears in my eyes, thank god a dream, but it felt real, it felt like I lost him. 'I miss you' I muttered silently.

I wasn't worried,
Cause' i knew you were mine.

"You promised me"
