Seven Deadly Sins

Chapter 2

We had just made it back to the Boar Hat and he had an outfit for Elizabeth thankfully my dress was ok so I didn't need to change into a uniform. He also said when I asked him why he didn't want me in the uniform he said: "I don't want all those guys staring at what's mine."

When he said that he sounded so possessive and it made me happy because it felt like he actually cared and it made me feel special it's probably not a good thing that I liked it, but hey if you like that sort of thing take it. Him and Elizabeth along with Hawk were going to the Village while I stayed there and cleaned up they came back a little bit later with a boy and they got to talking about how he put a bug into the holy knight's drink and he put a sword into the water system.

For some reason this struck something within me so I asked Mead what this holy knight looked like and his explanation sounded just like Gilthunder. I didn't say anything I thanked him then walked back over to behind the bar and poured me something strong I didn't even look to see what it was.

I was drinking it like a shot and went to go clean my mug when Meliodas went after me and said: "Hey is everything ok? You seemed pretty out of it when he explained what the holy knight looked like. Did it strike something within you?"

I told him after I had set my mug back in place "I'm fine I just thought I knew who it was turns out I didn't silly me."

We all went back to the Village and Mead did a motivational speech but these two knights were talking about how they would raise the tax I finally had enough so I walked over to the knight and snatched their mugs. I drank them and threw them at the knights I walked over to the sword and I just stared at it when I touched it I felt that it was Gilthunder so after that I just pulled it out and threw it at the two idiots and told them to scram.

Meliodas looked at me in surprise, the villagers cheered, and Elizabeth looked at me with a smile because she knew I would always do what's right and help those that couldn't help themselves. She knew I would always do the right thing no matter what happened to myself, but that's also what scared her because she knew even if it meant me being hurt I would still do it no matter the consequences. 

All the villagers came to the tavern to have food and drink I was in charge of cooking and I was thankful because I actually quite like cooking it was one of my hobbies after all. At the end of the night I saw Elizabeth walk out I was worried, but then I sensed something coming towards the village so I went out and so did Meliodas he left Hawk in charge.

When I got out there I went to where I knew it was going to land I was also listening to Elizabeth and her talk with Meliodas and she had calmed down and I was glad she did. All of a sudden I saw the spear and I knew how I was going to stop it so I held a hand to Meliodas and froze him where he stood.

The spear kept getting closer and when it was about to hit me I froze it where it was I put my hand on it and threw it back with more power and speed so that way Gilthunder would get the message. Knowing him though he will most likely think that it was Meliodas and that was fine with me I unfroze him and he ran right to me and hugged me he looked me over to see if I was injured in any way.

I just laughed at him a little bit and put my hands on the side of his face and just stared into his eyes and smiled so that way he knew I was alright he smiled at me and pulled me into a bone crushing hug. We walked back in and Meliodas called the last round for drinks and after a little bit everyone left and I cleaned up in the kitchen and washed all the mugs and everything.

Elizabeth had already gone to her room and I had just finished placing the last mug back in its place when I felt arms wrap around me I felt him put his head in the crook of my neck and just breath in my scent I was content and leaned back into him. Then I felt my shoulder become wet and realized he was crying I turned around in his hold and just wrapped my arms around him I knew he was scared of what I did tonight and I felt guilty I really did but I had to do it to save the village.

We both walked up to the room we were sharing and I went to the dresser and got my pajamas out and changed into them I didn't care that he was looking he was already in bed. I got in next to him and snuggled up to him and that's how we fell asleep while mama Hawk was traveling to the Forest of White Dreams and I knew that we would be ok because after all as long as we have each other we could lean on each other!
