I stood up, and pointed my gun at him again. "What are you waiting for!?" He yelled. I gently brushed my lips against his ear and said, "I can't kill you. Even after all the pain you put me through, and all of the agony I've been through because of you, I still can't kill you. I'm weak." He turned his head so his lips were barely touching mine. "Please kill me." He whispered. I smiled as a tear fell from my sweat drenched face, my eyes filled with pain. I cried out," Don't you understand!? I can't kill you! Here I have the Most dangerous human being on the planet, Jim Moriarty, who is practically on his knees begging me to kill him, and I can't do it. You know why? It's because I need you. As soon as you're gone, I am left with nothing! You may not care about me, but I care about you. So even though killing you may be the nice thing to do for you, I can't do it."
He stared at me as a look of realization flooded his face. "I might not be able to change you, but I can love you. I will always be there for you, even if you hate me for it." I said. "If you really loved me you'd kill me!" He screamed. " No, if I really loved you. I'd do what was best for you. All I know, is that you can't die. "Freeze! Put your hands in the air!" I turned around to see a lone security guard, standing a few feet away, pointing a gun at me. Jim looked at him and said, "Oh what do you want? Can't you see we're in the middle of something!?" He cocked his gun and pointed it at me again. He sighed and said, "Let us go or she dies." I stood there and told myself that he wasn't going to kill me. That's when I looked over and saw his finger on the trigger.
The officer replied, "I'm afraid I can't do that. I need you to drop your weapons on the floor and put your hands in the air." Without hesitating, Jim fired his weapon. This time, it went off. I looked down to see my snow white shirt, turn crimson red. I heard another gun shot, but I was losing too much blood to care. He knelt down next to me and said, "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry that were too stupid to pull the trigger. Well, it's too late now. Goodbye miss Locke." He walked away and left me to die. I heard sirens in the distance but it was too late. By the time they got there, I was beyond saving.
And that, my friends, is why you can never change Jim Morairty, or help him. He is not capable of loving or caring. So the best thing you could possibly do, is stay as far away from him as possible. And do not trust a single word that comes out of his mouth. Because if you do, it'll cost you your life.
A/N Hey, this was the last chapter of the book. I'm kinda nervous to see what you guys think, so please leave a comment and tell me how it was. I hope you liked it. Thanks!
