Here goes nothing.
"Alright, but there are rules okay? Like, you have to let me know if you're taking her somewhere." You pointedly looked at Jisung, who looked down quickly, ears turning bright red.
"Yes, Noona!" They all chimed back.
"Well, according to your schedule today, Chan and Jisung are working on songs while Felix, Seungmin, Jeongin have vocal lessons. That leaves Changbin, Minho and Hyunjin with free time until your next dance practice."
Hyunjin and Changbin, eager to redeem themselves after the whole "stray kids interact with babies" debacle, (which was totally unfair, as Changbin and Hyunjin were the last to babysit! It wasn't their fault that the kids were already tired and crying!) and immediately jumped at the opportunity. Minho, rolling his eyes at their very obvious plan, just stood off to the side and watched.
Since you were one of the managers there that day on that shoot, you were nervous to say the least. But knowing Minho was going to be there eased your mind quite a bit.
You were surprised at how good Minho was with the children on the shoot. The other boys, well, they just didn't really know what to do. But you saw a side of Minho you had never seen before. He was innately good with children, and when he held that baby, you knew he would be a good father one day. The other boys, even Chan, made you question them a bit (though, it was hard to think of them as fathers at all, they were your boys!) But not Minho, he was a natural.
Changbin and Hyunjin had taken Haemi from Felix, and you smiled softly. You could see Minho watching, keeping his distance but always observing. He looked up and met your eyes and smiled back. With that, you knew everything would be okay.

Forty-five minutes later, Haemi started getting tired. They had been playing nicely, coloring and then playing hide and seek when she started yawning. Changbin and Hyunjin, not paying attention to the signs, were unaware and kept going. Then chaos ensued. Haemi started crying, and Changbin and Hyunjin froze, internally screaming "NOT AGAIN".
Minho chuckled at their expressions, and without missing a beat, picked Haemi up and rocked her back and forth. Gently, he walked over to the couch and sang her a lullaby as she fell asleep.
Changbin and Hyunjin were shocked.
Minho...just did that? So easily? How? He was like an appa or something.
They decided to let them be, and soon Minho himself started to drift asleep.

Hana
After a busy hour of getting things in order for the next few days, you decided to check on the boys. Walking to the practice room, however, you didn't hear any noise.
Suspicious.
You slowly opened the door to see coloring pages all over the floor along with scattered colored pencils. But interestingly enough, no boys in sight.
You turned, only to see Minho holding Haemi, both fast asleep.
Your heart started beating faster, dying at how cute they looked.
Slowly, you made your way to them. Kneeling down, you could see how sweaty Haemi had become by being held for so long. Gently, you brushed her bangs to the side and gave her a small kiss on her forehead.
"She was out in minutes, I guess I didn't realize how tired I was and fell asleep as well. I'm sorry about that, Noona." Minho rasped, voice still laced with sleep.
"She's never fallen asleep that easily, actually, you have a gift. I should get you to put her to sleep every night." You said, laughing.
Minho just stared at you. You stared back, unable to read his expression. It was intense, but not blank, as his stares often times were. You blushed, not used to this kind of attention from Minho. He raised his hand to cup your face, and sighed longingly.
Just then, Changbin and Hyunjin came into the practice room loudly, a bag filled with snacks in each hand.
"Time to wake up sleepy heads! It's snack time! Chop, chop!"
Minho dropped his hand, and you went to pick up Haemi from Minho's arms.
"Don't worry, I got her." and he gently placed Haemi onto the couch. He took off the hoodie he was wearing, and placed it over her.
You were shocked at his behavior. You didn't know what to make of it at all. So you just stood there, gobsmacked.
He walked over to the other boys, and turned back for a moment to smile at you. And then went on as if nothing had happened.
Oh boy, what is going on?
