Hana

Early the next morning, Minho left to head back to the dorms before the members woke up. Despite sleeping (and only sleeping) on the couch together the previous night, he didn't want to have to hear their ohhhhhs and awwwwwhs or whatever.

That left you with nothing to do for the time being, as you weren't going into work and Haemi was still fast asleep.

So, you tied your hair up into a messy bun and started to clean.

About an hour went by when you heard loud knocking at your door. Not sure who it could be, you tentatively opened the door, only to be met with a strange man.

"Ms. Song Hana?"

"Yes...what is this about?"

Instead of responding, he silently handed you a letter and walked away.

Confused, you opened the envelope.

Three words.

Sole Child Custody

Oh no...he wants to take Haemi from me…

You burst into tears. How could he do this? How did he find out where I live? You supposed that he somehow found out through the company…

No

No

He won't take away your baby. You needed a plan to get away, far away.

Scared, as he obviously knew where you lived, you packed a bag for you and Haemi. You picked up the still sleeping toddler and left the apartment with your bags in tow.

----

Minho

You were bored out of your mind. Usually, you didn't mind being at home and watching movies, but you felt restless. You tried watching TV, but we're too distracted. Dancing was out of the question, as there wasn't enough space in the living room.

You missed Hana. You missed holding her around her waist and running your hands through her strawberry scented hair.

God, Minho, get it together. It hasn't even been two hours.

You were so deeply, madly in love.

knock, knock, knock

Stupid. One of the members must have forgotten their key.

Taking your time, you made your way to the front door only to be met with the frantic sight of Hana holding Haemi….and luggage?

"Jagi….what's going on?"

"He found us, he's trying to take her away from me. He's suing for legal custody."

You ushered Hana in, not saying anything at all. Taking her bags, you set them to the side. Haemi, bless her heart, was still sleeping. Gently, you motioned for Hana to pass her to you, and you walked to your room to let her sleep in your bed. Closing the door, you cupped Hana's face.

"Please say something Minho, I don't know what to do. I don't feel safe knowing he knows where we live."

Panic had set in, but you were trying desperately to keep calm. Hana couldn't stay here, as that would be the obvious place for him to look. From what Hana told you about Auntie, she lived with her son and most likely wouldn't be able to take her and Haemi in.

That only left one place where she could be safe.

Hana

"Eomma?"

Not long after finding your way to Minho's dorms, you suddenly found yourself about a thirty minute train journey away outside of Seoul.

Minho, holding Haemi, led you into a two story house in a quiet, residential area.

"Minho, is that you?" A shorter, older woman came out of the kitchen area. You were shocked at first, as Minho was literally the spitting image of her.

She stopped, taking in the scene before her. There, Minho was standing holding Haemi, while you stood there slightly behind him holding your two bags.

"Eomma, I need your help."

----

Twenty minutes later, you were sitting at a kitchen table across from Minho and Mrs. Lee. Haemi, having found the cats, kept herself occupied by playing with them in the front room.

"So, let me get this straight. You fell in love with your manager, who is a single mother, her ex boyfriend then finds her and causes a commotion at your company, resulting in everyone finding out about your relationship, and now her ex is trying to take her child away, and you bring her here?"

Minho, straight faced as always, simply nods.

"Mm."

His eomma is silent for a moment, then without any hesitation, snacks Minho on the back of the head.

"Pabo…running away wasn't the answer!"

"But eomma, I didn't know what else to do, I had to keep her safe."

"Yes, but she ran. And it won't look good if and when she has to go to court."

"They're my family eomma, just as much as you and Appa are. I have to protect them."

You cleared your throat, "I'm sorry Mrs. Lee. I know this is an imposition, but I truly don't know what else to do. I don't have a family to turn to. Minho is all I have now."

Mrs. Lee looked at you for a long moment, taking you in, and sighed.

"You poor girl. I'm so sorry your parents turned away from you. If I had a daughter, I couldn't imagine doing such an awful thing to her. Our children all make choices, and ultimately we must live with that. This situation isn't ideal, but I can see that my son loves you and your daughter very much. You can stay here, and we'll figure out how to keep you all together."
