*flashback*

"promise me we'll be together forever?" i whisper as the rain races down his car windows. he breathes in and smiles hugging me tightly while we lay in the back seat of his car.

"i pinky promise." he replies kissing my forehead and extending out his pinky for me to hold. my heart is complete. i wouldn't want this any other way.

"we should get back, love." he says and i groan hugging him tighter so he couldn't move. i want to stay here forever. i don't want to worry about the future anymore.

thinking about it makes me want to crawl up in a ball and cry until i die.

it's scary. i want to forget it.

"baby come on, i need to pack." he says sitting up to put on his clothes. i frown turning away from him as i try not to cry. my nose begins to hurt as i hold the tears in.

i begin the rub my nose and he immediately notices.

"love" he says gently turning my face with his hand. "don't hold in the pain." he says leaning in to kiss my nose.

he knows it's when i hold back my tears which brings me pain.

"i'm not." i say bluntly as i put on my jeans. "alena i've been with you for 5 years and you always rub your nose when you feel like crying."

i shake my head and roll my eyes causing a tear to slip out of my eye. "i don't do that." i reply causing him to breathe out a slight laugh.

"we met when we were sixteen, you've been doing it every year since." he says as he walks out the door jumping into the front seat.

i quickly jump out the car to get into the passenger seat. he grabs my hand as i sit bringing it towards his lips. he gives me a light kiss making me shiver.

"i'm going to miss you alena."

i finally begin to cry as i look over to face him.

"timothée please don't leave me."
