(Cameron's POV)
Beep Beep Beep Beep....
The room was plain, simple white blinds covering the large windows, baby blue painted walls and big machines.
Breathing Monitors, IV Machines, Remotes to call nurses ect.
I sat beside the hospital bed holding her hand tears rolling down my cheeks. It's all my fault I thought to myself. Joey knew about the reputation I used to have with girls hell we used to spend our Saturday nights talking about them as objects at our beckon call. and if I wouldn't have punched back Maddie wouldn't be hurt.
Maddie took a deep breath when her eyes fluttered open.
"Hey baby" I whispered
"Cam are you ok?" Maddison asked
" I'm fine baby... I'm sorry about your stomach.. It's all my fault if I didn't punch him back you would have never gotten hurt." I said lowering my head
" Cameron you did the right thing, you were trying to protect me anyway it's just a bruise right." maddie stated
"Actually you have 3 broken ribs...... " I informed
(Madison POV)
"well that sucks, but I guess it could be worst." I said with a smile.
Stretching my arm out as far as possible I grabbed Cameron's shirt putting him closer to me.
He inched closer his breath radiating down my neck.
Our lips crashed into each other, kissing me with passion. I scooted over and patted next to me, I'm in a hospital and there's no way in hell in sleeping here alone.
He put his arm under my neck and climbed under the blanket whispering sweet nothings. I fell asleep to the sound of his voice in his arms when the nurse came in.
"Sorry wake you up Madison, but the I need to check your vitals." She said
"Uuuuugh fine" I said exaggerating the sound.
"It's ok babe." Cameron whispered in my ear in a very low voice.
I inched closer to him and he kissed me , I pulled away from the kiss with a smile on my face .
"I'm also going to have to take your blood...." the nurse said
I held on to Cameron's hand refusing to let go. Needles are the most terrifying pokey object in the world, I stuck out my arm and held onto cam with my other hand.
She drew some blood and took it i don't know where
"Hey don't lose my DNA." I said as she left
Cameron went downstairs to the movie room and got my favorite Christmas movie, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. Literally the best day ever even though I was in the hospital, getting to spend an entire day with cam as if we were stuck in time.t
