AN HOUR PAST

"Wake up," the young girl poked Kai's shoulder as she hesitant. Kairi has been lied under his comfortable bed for almost an hours ever since he fell asleep. Well, he subtly wanted to sleep the rest of the day, nor neither tomorrow and even for the next day and for eternally...if he could.

Earning an annoyed groan from the sleepy boy her brows arched onto frown. "Wake up sleepy head! Someone wants to see you."

The older didn't budge. Not even the sligthest.

Not waking up, hah? She thoughts. A sudden loud slap noise eventually could heard across the hush room, Kai was fully awaken afterwards as if it was an alarm clock reminding him to be awake immediately. He shifted his hands to the swollen area where his sister slapped- a light red were visible at his right arm- as he sat up.

"Shit..." frowning, he winced in pain causing him to cussed at his sister. Kai stroked his arms up and down enough for him to lessen the pain he just received. "You hit me too harsh, Maiya."

"Oh, sorry. Well, you won't response so I chose the certain way to wake you up." she scratched her hair, foot couldn't remain calm, with her beaming bright she purshed her lips. Kai just glared at her.

"What's your deal?"

"Well, uhm, someone is outside though he wanted to see you."

"Who's he just now?"

"I mean, Mattia."

Mattia?

Eyes widened, he seems affected as how his chest quicken. He was clueless simultaneously wondered why Mattia came over or did he actually take responsibility from those words he told through text.

"That guy..." whispered kai to himself, as he bit his lower lips.

"Aight, don't tell him I'm here."

"But- I already said it that, you we're here."

Kairi palmed his face, with a dissapointed sigh past his lips. "And why did you do that?"

"It's because he asked me if you we're here, and I said yes. And then he asked me a favor, if could I call you 'cause he wants to talk to you." explained Maiya, before standing up. "So, that's why I'm here."

"Did he tell whyㅡugh, can you ask him why?"

"Hm, why don't you ask him why."

"Oh, c'mon, Maiya. Just this time, can you?"

Maiya paused for a second. "Fine. Under one condition; buy me ice-cream, after." mused Maiya.

"Yeah," asnwered Kai. Maiya raised her brows up, while crossing her hands clearly unsatisfied at her brother's responsed.

Kairi sighed. " 'Aight. I'll buy you ice-cream after you ask him why. Happy?"

"YES!"

On that Maiya headed out and went downstairs, leaving the boy, who's rolling his eyes, as he closed the door.
