Chapter 16

Reaching their destination, they hopped off the car and walked straight to the chaotic house. Kairi sighed after realizing he was now uncuff. Although It was a mild ride, Kairi felt like he was in a rollercoaster.

"If you ever did that again, we better not be friends."  Complained the small guy, while walking behind the taller one.

"Well we have to," Mattia teased with a pursed lips. "If I didn't do that, you'll probably run away. Right?"

"I don't wanna spend here that long." Kairi averted the subject by coming up another topic other than that. He was flustered, that's why.

"You won't. We will just drink and do some stuffs. Like a good hoe."

Kairi response was unaudible as how loud was the music when they got inside. They were alot of different people. The drunk; The two couple who often eat each others face; The high and lastly the introvert at the corner who probably was dragged in. Of course there's tons of them.

"Dude, I'll kick your ass If you leave me behind-"

"Chill, little man. I won't." reassured the italian, arms around the other's uneasy shoulder. "So, quit worrying and let's enjoy the party!"

"Tsk. Enjoy my ass." snorted Kai, rolling his eyes as he slapped Mattia's arms away from him. "You better not take It long."

"Either you. Better not sneak away or I'll pound your ass!"

Kai made a disgusting look upon hearing the sudden mock, kicking him he cursed under his breath. "Back off. Dude, you're being gay right now."

Mattia was about to say something, when a group of girls approaches the italian making Kai frown as how easily his attention grabbed by those strangers.

Kai couldn't complaint about being left since It's not like he's a babysitter. So, he instead make himself enjoy even the slightest.

He sat down under the counter in the kitchen area, munching two burgers he found while he slowly swallowed the bitter taste of wine.

After a moment of his joy as well as searching for the italian who he hadn't seen for an hour now, a man went straight to him with a bright beamed across his face.

"Howdy! Trying to search some chicks?" he asked, coming closer. Kai frowned.

"Ah nah, I'm good. I wasn't searching for some chicks. Frankly, trying to take a sight at my friend-"

He did not even get the chance to clear it out, when he go pulled by the wrist making him stumbled his way.

"Don't act like you don't. Come, I'll introduce you with few hot girls."

"I- no, wait,"

He gave up when they finally stopped infront of many people who seems having fun - compared to Kai.

"Hey girls, look what I'm with. A cute boy, he's lost-"

"I'm not lost."

They all giggle at the foolish words slip through the stranger as his wrist still held by the man. He began getting uncomfortable but slide It off.

The stranger cleared his throat. "So, he's trying to search for a cute one as me."

"Uhm, whatever your name is but I refuse. I've to find my friend."

He pulled away the grasp and was about to walk out when one chick asks.

"Wait, then, can I at least know your name or snap? I'm, Sarah, as so you know and here's my snap." she smiled and showed the phone with her snap. Kairi looked confused but he chose not to be rather rude and nodded.

"Just call me Kai. But I'm really have to go, It's nice meeting you all." With no hesitant, he sprint and vanish out of their sight in the crowd.

"Kai! Wait, what's your...snap?"

They mocked the Sarah girl when she was the one got ignored.

While on Kairi's way to searching for his bestfriend, he was complaining nonstop.

"Where the hell is that fuckin' dickhead? I knew it, he'll exactly leave me behind as what he just did last year."

He wandered his eyes around but no sign of Mattia was there. So he gave up and asked for a stranger. "Um, bro', where's the comfort room?"

The man got startled and afterwards pointed the way. Kai then responsed back an, "Okay. Thanks."

It is late at night. They need to be home before Kairi's curfew or he will probably gonna kiss the hanger and slipper tonight. Just the usual punishment.

"Hah. I'm screwed-" He covered his mouth immediately upon hearing his voice. He did so though of the situation they were in.

"Micah, stop." was Mattia's words echoed across the room. He stood by the door and slightly peak his eyes. The chicks was on top of him and It seems like Mattia is not in the mood as how he have an uneasy expression. Kairi scoffed.

That chicks is nosy, huh. He could tell by the look that the chicks was complaining alot. The italian has his eyes closed and stayed lay down with a chicks on top of him.

Kairi shifted his gaze on the hallway, checking If he is all good before bringing It back to the two when a voice came,

"Kairi,"
