"This isn't love. What you're doing right now- what you did back at Fox River, that's not love."
"I saved your life."
"No, you ruined it! You and Caroline, both." Marie said through clenched teeth, her hand grasping the curtain that seperated her and the bed that John Abruzzi was in. She was pretty surprised that Paul didn't notice him lying just a few feet away from him, but she supposed he was too full of rage to even comprehend his actions.
"You fucked up my life, you fucked up Lincoln's life. . . Hell, you fucked up your own life just to kiss my mother's ass!" she continued, taking a step forward.
Paul chuckled lightly, his gun still pointed at Marie as he rolled his eyes in disbelief. "Just to kiss your mother's ass? You really think that lowly of me?"
"I'm just stating the truth. You know, the thing which is true or in accordance with fact or reality." she sarcastically said, "But not that you'd know what that is."
"Really? Then why were you with me in the first place?" Paul asked, slowly lowering his gun as his eyes met hers.
"Because I loved you. I loved the man I knew back then. I don't even know who you are now." she stated, "Just look at you. Look at what you became." she pointed her hands at him.
"I don't even recognize you anymore."

."It's so exhausting having siblings though." Luca chuckled at the nurse as she tried her best to look completely uninteresed.
"Yeah, I know. . ." she exclaimed, "But never did my sibling prank me by saying our dad had a car crash." she smiled, shaking her head lightly.
"Well, you know. . . Kids are- they're crazy." he furrowed his eyebrows, looking back at the elevator before returning his gaze to the receptionist.
"Again- sorry to bother you. Guess I'll be on my way." he winked at her again before turning around and making his way towards the elevator, ignoring something the nurse had said to him.
"What's taking her so long?" he muttered as he pressed the elevator button. He got his phone out to call her, putting it to his ear as the elevator doors opened."Hello?"
"Are you done?" Luca asked, annoyed. The elevator door closed as he pressed the second floor button.
"No. N-not yet."
"You kidding me? How long does it take to just give someone a piece of paper?" he snapped, letting out a big breath.
"Sorry."
His mouth formed into a frown. "Hey, you okay?" he asked, his other hand flying to the gun that was strapped to his belt. "Your voice is trembling."
"I-"
The line suddenly cut short. Luca looked at the screen, "Shit." he muttered, exiting the elevator and making his way to the room 206. As he approached the door, he noticed that there was no one in front of the room- although there should be at least two guards.
"If you call me Caroline's dog one more time, I'll blow your brains out like a whistle, you get me?" he heard a voice from the inside.
He quickly bolted towards the doorknob, but he found out that the doors were locked. "Marie?" he raised his voice, careful not to bring too much attention to them. He heard a loud thud and whispering, followed by a muffled "Help me".
