Chapter 7

*LAINYS POV*

"Harry!? What are you doing!?!" I said.

He looked down a little bit and said "i couldn't let you leave like that.."

We locked eyes again and just stayed there for a few moments. "Im sorry.. I really have to go.." I mumbled.

I tried to close the door again but he kept his hand firm and held it open.

"Im not going to hurt you like that Lainy... I wouldn't ever treat you like James did.. You have to believe me. I could never do that to you. When we saw him at the park and you told me what he did i seriously just wanted to kill him right then and there. Maybe i could have if you would have let me.." He said looking me in the eyes. He smirked a little bit after the last sentence but his eyes were still sincere and sad.

"And those celebrity gossip people dont know anything.. Real or fake, they're just looking for something to interest people. They don't know what they're talking about.. they can say what they want, but they don't know anything about us"

I looked down at my feet and Harry reached down and gently turned my head towards his.

"You have to trust me.. I will never hurt you" he whispered. A flutter went through my stumach.

He leaned further into my car and pressed his lips against mine.

*HARRYS POV*

Lainy looked at me, pushed open the door and left. I could see the pain she had in her eyes.. it killed me to see her hurt like that. I couldn't just let her go.. I got up so fast i practically tripped over my chair but it didnt matter, all that mattered was Lainy.

I sprinted to the door, and got to Lainy's car as fast as i could. She was about to shut the door but i grabbed it just in time.

"Harry!? What are you doing!?!" There were so many things i could have and should have said but

"i couldn't let you leave like that.." Is what came out of my mouth.

I stared into her eyes waiting for her to say something, but all she said was that she had to leave.. I kept my hand firm on the door so she couldn't shut it.

After hearing everything that she said, i decided that i was just going to tell her and let it all out.

I looked her in the eyes and just told her everything. I let her know that i would never ever hurt her, and i just wanted to shred James at the park, and that the celebrity news people have no idea about mine and Lainys relationship and that everything they say is rubbish.. Everything i said to her was true..

Lainy looked back down at her feet again. I put my hand under her chin and turned her head so it was facing mine.

I whispered "you have to trust me.. I will never hurt you"

I was finally going to do it.. I leaned into her car and kissed her. I just kept kissing her.

I put my right hand on her cheek and tucked a curl behind her ear with my left hand.

She was so perfect.. It was like our lips were made for each other.

I don't know how long it was until i pulled back, but it didn't matter.. I couldn't help but smile.

*LAINYS POV*

At first i was just surprised that his perfect lips were on mine while one hand was holding my cheek and the other was tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.. But then my senses came to me and i began to kiss back.

Harrys lips were big and fit perfectly onto mine. At that second i realized that i had misjudged my feelings. Maybe Harry and i could be more than friends.

I'd never felt like this before.. I could trust Harry, just like i did when we were climbing that huge tree..

He pulled back and smiled at me. I blushed and said "do you want to go back inside?"

He nodded his head and reached his hand out for mine. I grabbed it and got out of my car. I shut the door and our fingers entwined as we walked back to our little table that still had our coffee on it.

We both sat down and had silly conversations until the workers were starting to clean up and close the shop.

Harry pushed the door open and we walked outside.

"Well.. Thanks for the coffee" I said giggling.

"It was my pleasure" he said smiling at me.

He put his hands on my waist and pulled me close to him. I put my arms around his neck and pecked his lips.

"So ill call you tomorrow?" Harry asked.

"That sounds greattt" i said. We both let go and walked to my car. I unlocked it and opened the door. I gave him a quick hug and said goodbye.

Pulling out of my little parking space, i waved at him and pulled out onto the road.

Looking at the stars, i caught myself hoping for a shooting star. I laughed at myself. I already got my wish.

It was right then that i realized that i just kissed Harry Styles.. Something i had been wishing for for 2 years had finally come true.
