Liam calls Rafael while Aven is in front of him and they look at each other.
"Liam, how are you?" Rafael asks cheerful
"We need your help, it has to do with Aven. Can we meet to the lab tomorrow?"
Rafael doesn't respond and sounds worried "Yes, of course" he finally gets able to say a word
Liam hangs up and Rafael turns his face to Nina who is drinking her coffee with him in the lab. He seems really worried. "What happened? You seem like you saw an alien robot" Nina says trying to find out what happened
"Liam and Aven, will be here tomorrow" Rafael says still shocked and thinkingful
"And what's with that? You act like the president will pass by" she says while she continues sips her coffee
Rafael looks at Nina's eyes with a serious look. "It's time Nina, the truth will out!" He says determined and Nina leaves her mug in the desk and stands up looking at him with curiosity
"What are you talking about?" Nina asks still unsure
"I will tell them everything, I'm determined!" Rafael stays with a serious but unsure look
"We have discussed about this... they don't have to know! Truth hurts and you know it, deal woth it" Nina says looking at Rafael trying to reason with him
The next day, Liam and Aven are in Liam's car now and they're going to the lab. When that get there they get out of the car and walk until they get to the huge lab's door. Liam calls Rafael to open the door, and he opens it. They get in the huge laboratory. Liam grabs Aven's hand and they walk to the large hallway, passing through many rooms with inventions, machines and medicines. Finally Rafael came to them.
"Liam, how are you my friend?" Rafael asks full of joy as he hugs him
"I'm fine" Liam answers troubled
"So nice to see you again Aven!" Rafael says as he turns his face to Aven
"Nice to meet you!" She says with a fake smile
"You don't remember me?"
"She has amnesia actually..." Liam whispers to Rafael's ear and he looks at Aven worried
They now go to the testing room where his new invention is. Rafael opens the door made of still and gets in, it's the same room Liam and Aven lost their memories. Nina is there and she waves at them from distance as she works on the machine. Rafael stands beside the machine and looks at it as he sighs.
"This is Experiment 218 or 'Memory changer'! The machine that turns people's bad memories into good memories" he says as he looks at Aven but she looks at the machine thinkingful.
Aven walks in the room and observes the place, she goes to Nina to see what she is doing
"What are that chemicals for?" Aven asks with curiosity
"They are pills actually, we use them to block norepinephrine during the 'Memory changer' process" Nina explains to Aven with a little smile
Aven grabs one of the pills and observes it. She looks at the label with curiosity and Nina gulped. Aven now realised something and looks at Nina mad.
"Don't try to fool me, I have depression and I know that this is an antidepressant drug!" She says looking at Nina rapidly, the she turns his face to Rafael "You actually give people drugs for depression?" She continues
"We use drugs to block norepinephrine and this way help us alter memories again"
"Whatever..." Aven says still mad and a little disappointed.
Liam goes out of the room and he's headed to the bathroom. After he's finished, he goes for a walk in the lab and observes the rooms and the inventions. He sees a room with an open wide door and gets in. Inside there are many drawings and sketches in the walls and some tools. He then takes a drawing of a woman from the wall, he observes the sketch and realise it's a plan in which Rafael is working on. He has a picture of a woman on the drawing which woman looks exactly like the woman in the drawing. He turns the piece of paper and behind it have some numbers, chemicals and a cloning machine in it.
"I guess you never learnt that you don't have to sneak in secret rooms" Nina says leaning on the room's door and Liam gets scared
"You were spying on me, aren't you?"
"Rafael doesn't want you to be here, you know that! I am only making sure you don't break or destroy anything" Nina says as she gets close to him
"You don't have to worry" he says with a smile. "What is that cloning machine Rafael writes about here, and that woman?" He continues with curiosity
"It's nothing!" Nina says as she grabs the drawing and sticks it to the wall again. "It's something that you don't have to know" she says looking at him with a serious look
Meanwhile, Aven is looking around in the room and she sees a picture on Rafael's desk with him and a woman which is exactly like her. She looks at Rafael curious
"Is that me in that photo over there?" And she points at the photo
"Aven, you are more special than you think" he says and Aven looks at him full of curiosity
