A portal opens up in Ginza Japan and it's up to a group of Spartans and the UNSC to investigate the other side to solve and understand the motives of the enemy.
Inside an ONI pelican sat Julio alone gripping his helmet. He sat there silently staring at the skull-shaped visor of his helm. Recalling distance memories of time past, the countless missions he's done, the many questionable things he had to do over the years. Although it was never his job to question those things only do them regardless of how he felt. All he could do now is move on, to carry on with his life and push all aside. Julio then turned his helmet to where the visor pointed down at the floor and AI port to him. With one swift and easy movement, he slipped it on, the Hud vibrantly coming to life with that all too familiar HNNNG noise accompanied by its blue glow.
Shortly after he dawned his helmet the pelican's mic came online and a female voice called to him. "Aye 21."
Julio: What is it, Zulu?
He responded with a deep and stoic voice.
Zulu: Our ETA to Ginza, Tokyo is 5 minutes so get ready.
Julio: Affirmative Zulu.
He then stood up from his seat and pulled his modded assault rifle from the rack above his seat.

Julio then placed it on his back and made sure it magnetizes correctly by nudging it a little with his elbow. Once his test was done he stood center of the pelican and the mic came online again.
Zulu: And... We've landed.
The pelican then gracefully landed on Ginza's main street and the hatch opened and Julio stepped out. As his feet touched the soaked street he turned back to see Zulu take off into the rainy night sky. When looking towards the heavens he rain made a tapping sound as it hit his visor. Then he watched as the water droplets run down it. This brought him a sense of momentary peace but eventually, he snapped himself back to his current objective. Julio then walked down the street to a UNSC staging area around a large dome structure in the middle. As he got closer he saw a large detachment of Marines gathered neatly around a podium. Although he didn't join them rather he walked himself past the podium until he reached a small green camouflage tent. Inside he was met with Tetsuo and Aries sitting at a table overseeing a small holographic projection of the meeting outside. Julio the walked up and crossed his arms, Tetsuo then looked up while cleaning his katana with a black cloth.
Tetsuo: Glad to see you arrived safely, commander.
Julio: Likewise.
Tetsuo then placed his katana in its sheath and fell back into silence while Aries walked up to Julio and placed his hand on his shoulder piece.
Aries: I'm guessing you didn't want to come?
Julio then slowly looked at him and both Aries and Tetsuo knew his answer.
Tetsuo: The path to peace will forever elude us old friend. You should have expected this by now we Spartans were brought up for one reason only.
Aries: To serve and protect humanity no matter the cost.
