Life in America- Chapter 1

I just wanted to let you guys know that this is going to be a shorter chapter,  but that's only because if it's any longer, it'll start to get boring. So just a heads up!

Kiti's Pov~

I sighed and started to walk towards my dorm, today was just like any other day, wake up, go to school, get teased because of my height, and come home. I quickly entered my dorm locking it behind me. I got lucky, I had a dorm all to myself.

I set things on the ground and plopped onto my bed facing the ceiling. I turned my head to the side and reached over and grabbed a photo. I was a picture of me and Kei. We had just turned 7 and we had the biggest smiles on our faces. At the time I was slightly taller, hence why I liked the photo so much.

I, live in America. I've only gone here for not even a year, but it's been one hell-of-a long time. When I thought about it, I still hadn't even made any friends here, not that I care, but I could probably call any of my friends from home and start up a conversation.

I reached into my pocket, fishing out my phone. I scrolled through my contacts until I found my moms. We talked regularly, so it was near the top.

Hello?

Hey mom!

Oh hello Kiti! How's America!

It's ok I guess. They have good food, but nothing is as good as yours!

Aw~ Thank you Kiti. I can Tell there's something you want to say, you have a certain tone to your voice when you do.

I laughed

Sorry, but yes there is something I want to say. It's about coming home.

You want to come visit? Oh that's a great idea sweetheart!

No, well kinda. I don't want to go to school in America.

We talked about it for awhile, maybe thirty minutes, before she had to go. Kei had just got home and she needed to start making dinner. We said our goodbyes and she hung up. I smiled to myself. I'm finally going back home.

It was fairly soon too, 2 weeks to be exact. So I decided to pay extra attention in class, and less attention to the people who tease me, which was fairly easy, since all I had to do was look straight forward.

2 weeks later

I looked around the airport looking for my parents. My flight had gone well and I was now at the airport with all my stuff. I had insisted on taking a taxi, but my parents insisted more. I quickly spotted them and walked over.

"Kiti!" I heard my mom yell. I walked over to my mom and gave her a big hug, "Hi mom! How have you been" I walked over and gave my dad a huge hug aswell"Hey Kiti" I smiled "Hey dad" we chatted for awhile then walked and got into the car where we chatted some more.

We arrived at home and quickly brought my stuff inside before Kei got home. I was going to sleep in my room like normal. I'd had already eaten dinner, so when they ate I could stay in my room. We had taken all the precautions so he wouldn't know I was here.

I heard him walk by my room and I have to stifle my laughter. Once he passed I burried my head in my pillow. God this was hilarious. He had no idea just how close I was. I let out a long sigh and got ready for bed. Tomorrow was going to be a long day.
