The day was finally here; Seulgi was going to meet Irene. They've been texting, asking themselves where they should meet. They decided they wanted to go to the movie theater, a nice place to enjoy each other's company while watching a nice film.

Seulgi was a mess. She didn't know what to wear, how to do her hair or her make up. She decided to use Google for once and look up tutorials on how to... dress up properly for a date.

Was it a date? Seulgi wasn't sure if Irene saw it that way, but she definitely did. Irene was beautiful, stunning, ethereal. She was an angel sent from heaven.

Seulgi easily got distracted, and instead of focusing on the tutorials, she thought about Irene.

She was always thinking about her. How she looked amazing in either a ponytail or a bun, how beautiful her smile was. How her eyes shone when she laughed or when she found something endearing. Her eyes, something so special. She remembered when she first connected her own with hers, how her heart jumped and her stomach back flipped.

Seulgi smiled, remembering how she slowly fell for her. At the same time, she was scared. She was terrified that Irene didn't see her the way she did. She hoped and prayed and wished and begged for the universe, the gods or anyone up there that Irene wouldn't run away from her and leave her all alone.

She was tired of being alone, of having no one to share her thoughts and worries with. She considered herself someone with a lot of ideas and complications. She wanted somebody to listen to her and give her feedback, something she can rely on. Seulgi's life has been hard since her childhood, and she didn't want her life to keep going on like she was just a speck of dust flying through the air. She felt like a bubble; insignificant, floating around, and so fragile it could pop at any second.

But with Irene, she had something to think about. She had something to look forward too, and she didn't want that to end.

So, when she glanced back at her phone, she wanted to watch as many tutorials as she could. Irene deserved to have a proper date tonight.

Irene couldn't remember when was the last time she went on a date. She remembered it was with a guy named Tom, and he was a good guy. That is, until he wanted to kiss her forcefully. Luckily, a few people were nearby and stopped it before it could get worse. After that, Irene was afraid to even look at somebody with a different gaze.

It's been a few years since she moved into the city. Since then, she's never talked to anybody for more than ten seconds. The ones she talks to the most are her coworkers, and it's because she doesn't have a choice. Aside from them, she doesn't have friends or family living close to her.

Irene spends her free time inside her apartment reading tons of books and writing endless hours on her journal. Sometimes, she would look up different universities to start her masters. However, nowadays she just wants to lay back and relax for a while.

That's why she's now working at Bleu, having nothing else to do on her vacation. She didn't have money to travel, so she had to make the best out of it inside her job and her home.

She had got admit that she felt lonely. She had a lot of things to talk about, so many questions she wanted the answers to.

When Seulgi told her she looked like she had to talk about, Irene felt a sudden pull in her chest. How could a stranger know what she wants to do? Is that stranger reading her mind, or she found someone similar? Irene didn't know, but her heart told her to accept the offer. She wasn't sure if it was the best idea, but she didn't have anything to waste.

When Irene thought about Seulgi, she found the timid woman beautiful. Her shy but assertive demeanor enchanted Irene, and she wanted to know more. She wanted to see and know more about Seulgi, that kind stranger who apparently saw right through Irene's walls. Irene thought she seemed like someone who had a lot to talk about as well, so she was actually excited for their simple date tonight.

A movie theater? Irene thought it was a brilliant idea. They were going to watch a science fiction movie, something both of them were excited about.

Irene walked in circles through her apartment, millions of scenarios running through her head. She wanted Seulgi to feel comfortable, but at the same she didn't know if Seulgi invited her to just talk to her or if she wanted something more. Irene was insecure.

Her confidence was nowhere to be found as the day progressed. She dedicated the whole day to find the right make up and clothes for the event. When she did, it was noon. 2:00 pm to be exact. The movie started at 7:00 pm. She cleaned her room, the living room, the kitchen, and it was still not time for the movie.

Irene sighed, obviously a nervous wreck. She sat down on her black couch and closed her eyes, regulating her breathing. She was sure Seulgi wasn't as nervous as her, so she needed to get her shit together. It was just a date, it wasn't anything official. A date, to test the waters and get to know each other more. Inside a movie theater, where they wouldn't be obligated to stare at each other awkwardly in silence.

What Irene didn't know was that Seulgi was nervous, insecure, and excited as her. She didn't know Seulgi was trying to make everything perfect, just for her.

She didn't know Seulgi was falling for her.
