38: A late night talk walk

Eren's POV

"Stay still baby" Levi hummed and shifted position to reach the back of Eren's neck right after having pulled the drain of the Jacuzzi. "I'm going to take off your collar". Eren, still feeling lazy and full of post-orgasm hormones that was lulling him comfortably, just let out a soft humming sound through closed lips. He felt the soft, familiar sensation of Levi's lips against the nape of his neck at the same time as he felt his fingers find the little padlock. A little click was heard and signaled the shift in their dynamics. Eren let out a soft sigh and turned around in the bath to face his lover, but found that he was already on his way out of the bath and now with his used condom in his hand. Eren couldn't help but to snort at the sight; Levi looked uncharacteristically unbalanced as he climbed out of the tub, almost wobbly even, and the condom dripping with bath water in his hand was definitely a comedic addition. But to be fair, during the course of the evening the man had consumed an amount of alcohol that Eren probably would've passed out on by now, as well as fucked him really damn good up until just a moment ago.

"Not sure if you're drunk on alcohol or on me Levi, but damn" he said, with a bit of his teasing tone in his voice. Levi stopped mid-step and looked back at him, his sharp, black brows slightly furrowed.

"Well. Definitely not on alcohol, kid" he said before proceeding to throw away the condom and his face momentarily shifting into one of disgust at the action. Eren had to press his lips together for a moment as a big smile wanted to break out across his features at the man's by now very familiar behavior that probably no one else but Eren found endearing. Not that he dared tell him that though. But he wanted to tease him a little more, so he raised his eyebrows and pressed his lips together to make his smile stay at a jokingly seductive smirk.

"Hm? But on me then?" he asked, tilting his head. The drain made one of those comedic loud slurping noises as the last of the water disappeared... which apparently was what was needed for Levi to set his feet in it again.

"Yes, you on the other hand-" Levi said, now smirking right back at him, "you are indeed quite intoxicating" he admitted, looking right at him and making him swallow thickly. Damn that always so shamelessly honest man. Levi continued before he had gotten the chance to reply. "Sit tight, I'm going to rinse us off. With all due respect to tub sex, but the water gets fucking disgusting after a while" Levi said and picked up the shower head. Eren let out an amused breath of air but stayed still to let him do what he wanted.

"Have you always been so shamelessly honest?" he asked after a short moment, genuinely curious. Most people would be at least a little embarrassed at the topic while Levi never even bothered trying to deny these sort of things.

"I see no reason in trying to deny obvious truths" Levi answered casually while focusing on rinsing them both off, but Eren felt his heart jump.

"...Is that an obvious truth?" he asked, trying and failing to sound casual. Levi shifted his focus for a moment to look up at him wearing an expression that actually looked a little puzzled.

"Yes" he replied, but also made it sound like a question. Eren's face must've expressed a similar emotion because Levi suddenly creased his eyebrows and brought up a hand to his face as if he was realizing something. He let out a low groan.

"Well... I realize that you haven't seen me in any other situation than while having you around, so it might be hard for you to know" he started saying and then looked back into his eyes and let his hand fall down again. "You... blow me away, Eren. I'm compromising with all of my normally preferred ways of living to be with you and I have no intention of looking back".

Oh my god... Eren felt his cheeks quickly heat up at the older man's confession.

"Wow- I..." he started but trailed off as he couldn't seem to find the right words. "You know I'm crazy about you right?" he finally replied while feeling intense emotions liven up his heart.
