- Ally -
Just got to my new home in London. I hadn't moved anywhere since I was 4, and in fact I was just a little kid, I can't remember anything of this moving process.
This was so unusual.
I already missed my friends so much, it was heartbreaking.
When my mom told me we were moving to England because my dad got a new, better job here my world crashed into millions of pieces. I never wanted to leave my friends, especially my best friend Kylie, who I spent my childhood with.
The best was yet to come; my dad told me that we had to stay at my uncle's house until our house was completed. The thought of sharing a room with my older sister for 3 weeks pissed me off.

My parents, my sister Sara and I arrived at my uncle's, it was late in the evening about 9 pm. I got off the car and went towards the trunk.
Sara helped me getting our luggage into our room. There I threw myself onto my bed. Sara threw herself onto her bed as well. I took my phone out of my pocket and checked my messages.
I smiled as I saw that Kylie and some others spammed me with tons of messages, but Kylie was most important.
From: Kylie
- Ally have you arrived yet???
- Hello I miss you
-ALLY I HATE YOU FOR LEAVING ME BUT I STILL LOVE YOU SO MUCH
-I don't know what to do without you please come back
-Please keep me off from crying.
-Either you come online or I get mad
-HELLO COME THE FUCK ONLINE...And many other messages like these.
To: Kylie
Oh my god. Kylie I just can't do without you. I never wanted this shit to happen, but we have to accept this. I will visit you everytime I can, I promise. I hope you will too so I'll show you everything here in London. Kylie, you are my best friend that nobody can replace. I love you too. From: Kylie
You know that we went to London with our class last year, remember? I've seen pretty much of LondonTo: Kylie
But you haven't seen everything. Just wait until you visit me. I have to go offline, I'll text you soon, goodnightI put my phone on the nightstand and felt hot tears threatening to come out. I just wanted to take my things and go back to Germany, but I had no choice.
"Ally, are you okay?" Sara asked a bit worried.
"Do I look like I am okay? No I don't. We left our family, our friends, pretty much everything. I don't know anyone here except our uncle and aunt. I don't know how the people at my new school are going to react when they see me for the first time. I heard that British students are very mean when someone is new in their school. I told all of you that is was a bad choice."
My tears were flowing endlessly now.
"I can understand you. But you're not the only one that left everything behind, I left everyone and everything too. Be lucky that you have the opportunity to visit your friends, others can't afford this. And now wipe your tears away." She said as calmly as she could, trying to not cry either.
Her words calmed me down. That's why I love her more than everything. She was always there for me, and with always I really mean always. She was more than a sister to me. She was my best friend, though I got Kylie, but she knew that and Sara and her were friends as well, so that was no problem.
"I love you Sara, thank you for being there for me." I said while hugging her.
"Love you too, little sis." She grinned.
"Sara! Ally! Dinner's ready!" My mom yelled from downstairs.
"Coming!" We both yelled.
Sara and I went downstairs for Dinner, my parents, my uncle and my aunt were already sitting at the table, waiting for us to come.
We sat at the table and began to eat our dinner. I didn't really speak, I just sat there and ate.
My aunt was worried about me because I didn't say anything. I actually couldn't stop talking, but now I was quiet.
"Ally? Why aren't you talking? Seeing you sitting there scares me to be honest, I've never seen you like this." the emphasis was on this. That sounded like I was some piece of shit.
Oh wait, I really felt like one.
I sighed. "I just have to get used to this sh-"
I got interrupted by my dad. He got angry as I wanted to complete the word 'shit'.
"Ally Noyan! Be careful of what you say. If we hadn't moved here, we would've almost lost our home because of the low wage. So better be thankful that I got a better job here and so we can all have a better life!"
I think he didn't know what it means when you are forced to leave your friends and everything you loved behind and start a new life. Though I could have started yelling at him and tell him what I really thought of this situation, I didn't say anything. I just looked him into his dark brown eyes and gave him a glance that no one actually wants to see.
My mom saw the anger in my eyes and gave me a 'don't you dare to yell at him' look.
Everyone in my family knew that my dad and I didn't have a good relationship. Since I got into puberty we started having arguments every day. After my dad yelled at me I completely lost my appetite. I took my plate and put it into the sink and went into my room afterwards.

My phone rang at 6:00 am, time to wake up.
After waking up I went into the bathroom which was inside my room. I'm glad that I at least had a bathroom for my own. I had to share it with Sara, but this wasn't a problem.
I took a shower and enjoyed the warm water that flew down my back. After that calming shower I went to my closet and took out my favorite jeans, a black top and black high top converse.
Sara and I were going to the same school, so she took me with her in her car that my parents got her. As we arrived in our new school, I had a strange feeling in my stomach.
