Rylan's P.O.V
Fluer and I sat nervously in the champion's tent, waiting for the others to arrive. The air was cold and our thin outfits did little to keep us warm, perhaps the dragons would heat up the chilly English morning. I remember the moment Madame Maxime told us, the feeling of sheer terror, which was still present now despite the fact that I had a plan.
The other four champions entered the tent with their respective head teachers, a few of their friends came to wish them luck, then they departed and it was time. Time to pick the beasts we would face in the arena. Crouch held out a bag and each of us picked out a miniature dragon with a number on its side. Mine was a rather dull, khaki green colour, it stared up at me with evil yellow eyes. Horrible thing. My number was five, meaning I was next to last, Harry Potter being the person after me. Cedric would be first, followed by Fluer then Viktor and Sebastian... then it would be my turn.
As Cedric left the tent, so did Crouch and the head teachers, leaving only the remaining champions. The cheering of the crowd signaled when Cedric had retrieved his egg but he did not come back. I hugged Fleur quickly and wished her luck as she left to face her dragon. It felt like an age before it was announced that she had succeeded, the noises of the crowd constantly had me on edge. All too soon only Harry and I remained, I sat nervously fiddling with my hair and he paced as we waited for Sebastian to retrieve his egg. The crowd cheered then my name was announced.
"Good luck" Harry murmured, still pacing.
I smiled and left, walking down the passage into the arena.
My dragon was tethered in the centre, it hovered in the air, now and then flapping its giant wings. Its fierce yellow eyes scoured the area, as though looking for me, the crowd was silent as I inched around the arena, careful to remain hidden behind clusters of rock. Then I saw it. The egg. It was just behind the dragon, in a kind of nest. I rolled out from my hiding place but the dragon saw me, its tail slammed down narrowly missing my head, I let out a screech as the tail came down once more. This time I was not so lucky and it hit my left leg, the pain was unimaginable. I tried to move my leg but nothing happened, it only caused more pain. I looked up in fear, knowing the beast was about to make another attack and I was helpless.
No. I had a wand, didn't I? "Immobulus" I shouted. The dragon froze, it's ugly green tail, inches from my chest. Using only my arms, I dragged myself across the rocks ignoring the pain in my leg, all the way to the nest, I lifted the egg above my head in triumph. The crowd cheered... then everything went black.

Hailee's P.O.V
The first task was scary, really scary. Lily came to sit with us, she has grown so pale and thin it is unbelievable. She was so jumpy, the whole of the time when Sebastian was facing his dragon. Then when Rylan passed out, everything became chaotic, they say she has shattered the bones in her left leg and passed out from the pain. The judges scored her last, Krum is in the lead, not exactly surprising.
There was a large delay between Rylan and Harry, due to her passing out. In this break we were greeted by Fred and George.
"Guess what we've got, Lily" they teased.
"What" she asked, quietly.
"Ahh, cheer up Lil, we've only got you something you've wanted for ages" Fred said, pulling a hip flask from his robes.
"How did you get this?" She exclaimed gleefully, running forward and hugging him.
"We're just clever, I guess" George shrugged.
"Lil, you're so thin! What have you been doing to yourself?" Fred gasped.
In response Lily broke out of his embrace and returned to sit with us "Nothing" she replied, tears brimming in her eyes.
"It's obvious she doesn't want to talk about it" Alice snapped, turning to comfort Lily.
'What did I do?' Fred mouthed.
I shrugged, I truly had no idea. "Are you okay, Lily?" I whispered.
She looked up for a second and slowly shook her head, "Fred... I... I'm sorry...it's not your fault...I just... just... haven't been myself lately... Will you forgive me?" she sobbed.
"There's nothing to forgive... If you need us to prank someone for you we'll be over there" he replied, gesturing to a group of Gryffindors to our right.
"What's wrong Lily?" I asked, once the twins had gone.
"Nothing I can say here" she whispered, "I don't mean to be rude Hailee, but I don't think there is any way you can help me... If you really want to know, though, meet me in the room of requirement after the task finishes, please bring Draco with you"
I nod "Are you sure there is nothing I can do?"
"I don't know" Lily replied, so quietly it was barely audible.
