The Ice Man Falls In Love

chapter 3

Wienna's POV

Sitting beside Cana and watching the fray made me realize that this was the time where everything was normal. Where I was normal in everybody's eyes. What would happen once people got to know about me? I for sure knew that I would never be abandoned. Master had ensured me that this would forever be my family and I couldn't be more thankful.
Natsu, macao, wakaba and the people who have known me as a child and cared for me as their own. Would I betray their trust me? Would they be scared of me?

As I was deeply engrossed in my thoughts Cana muttered curses and finally screamed, snapping me awake and pushing me off the chair, "Can't a girl drink in peace!!?"
With this she used her cards to cast a spell depriving everybody's source of magic. "Are you alright?" Mira softly asked while helping me up. Before I could reply, she was hit by a chair and Elfman was on top of her.

"M-Mira-san" Lucy gaped. Getting back up on the stool I sighed. That poor girl had so much to know. Not long after, my drink was rudely spilt by none other than gray fulbuster. That's done it.

"Tell me. What should I do with you."
I asked. "Winny t-the spoon broke. Calm down." Cana sighed knowing that I wouldn't really listen to her.

"You tell me. What can a little girl like you even do to me?" Gray said cockily.
"That's it I've had enough!!" I roared and charged at him. He caught my wrist and spun me around, his half naked body pressing against my back. Since my waist was exposed due to me not wearing a cloak I could feel his skin touch mine that caused goosebumps to form. Brushing my hair to the other side of my neck he brought his mouth close to my ear and his cool breath fanned my neck. He whispered, "Is this all you can do?"

I didn't move. I couldn't because one, he held me in a death grip and two I was shocked. Snapping out of it, I freed myself and gave him a glare. "Come at me!"
"My pleasure. Ice-make hammer!!" "To the future!" And it melted away. I smirked, "Ice doesn't work remember?" He just 'tched' and charged at me for a bare handed battle and I dodged him easily. I wasn't gonna fall for it again.

I heard Lucy gasp and say, "This is why they fight isn't it?"

"Aye! But this isn't just the only magic she has." Happy said. "What do you mean? How did she manage to learn two different magic spells like that? Is it even possible?" She questioned again.

"Yes it is possible to learn two different spells at a time. If you now mention it, her magic is just like yours in a way Lucy." Mira answered.
"She's a celestial mage too?" "Not exactly. But she owns spirits too. Heavenly spirits. 10 of them. Each of them are really powerful. Although she doesn't have keys like you do she can summon them on her own. Because she feels useless while they're fighting, she learnt the magic of time. And that's what she can do. Dispell object type of magic to the future and past example Gray's ice. But she can't use it on magic spells example earthly elements like lighting or water." Happy explained.

"That's cool isn't it? She can at least fight on her own. I'm powerless without my keys." Lucy said. "All magic has its own special properties. I don't even know majority of the spirits there if you ask me.  We've all seen only four out of the 10." Mira said.

"And those four are?" Lucy questioned eagerly. " Reyes, she's a wizard who holds her power in her hair. Star, as her name suggests,she's a heavenly bodies magic user. There's melody, again according to her name she has to do with music and sound. She can reflect your voice back at you, amplified. And that's how a person's magic reflects back at them. And lastly there's reaper. He is mostly about weather, that includes wind, storm, thunder, lighting, rain everything." Happy explained.

"What about your spirits?" Mira asked her. And they kept talking. My sole attention was on Gray who was panting as heavily as I was in front of me. I never did well in physical fights and these little brawls actually helped me improve. Out of nowhere natsu stole away Gray's boxers and hid behind Lucy as gray stood in just his underwear.

I averted my eyes like this was all normal and went back to the bar to get a drink. "Give me back my boxers you Pyro!!" I heard gray screaming. "If you want it come and get it" Natsu retorted back. And I saw a fight brewing again, this time with everybody in the fray. This was one thing that would never change.

"Can I borrow your underwear miss?"
He asked Lucy. The poor girl looked so horrified. A big figure burst in stomping over natsu. "W-What's that?" Lucy nearly quivered. "Oh that's our master!" Mira answered for her. "Is this our new recruit?" Master questioned. "Ye-yes sir!" She shook. Master shrunk to normal as her eyes changed from scared horrified to confusion horrified. That poor girl I thought internally.

"Do you know the ruckus you've been causing with the magic council? Look at this paperwork! But! .. Don't let this hold you back. Magic is meant to be exercised and used to protect. Show 'em what fairy tail is made of!!" and so everybody erupted to cheers as he burnt the papers. A welcome party for  Lucy soon began. Cana was passed out and I knew it was my que to get her home before she drank even more and it already was evening. I bid goodbye to Mira excusing myself from the guildhall. I turned around to take a look to be met by Gray's orbs looking at my retreating figure. I ignored it as I turned around making my way home.

Hello again! So I see a lot of errors with spellings and grammatic errors too. So please do bear with me for now as I'm going to try to update weekly and I will edit it properly once I'm done. I might not put in the exact words or follow the plotline and since writing is my passion this might be one long storyline.
