You had just came from an easy day at work. Nothing very interesting happened and the boy wasn't there today. You had been walking around town for a couple hours and it was getting dark out, you told Henry not to worry about you and that you'd be out for a bit. you were walking around the beach, it felt nice, the warm air on your s/c skin and flowing through your hair. You were humming a random tune and felt your phone vibrate

You sighed and put your phone back in your back pocket but felt something thin, you pulled it out and stopped walking and stared at it, it was a Polaroid. Things felt silent, like you went back in time, you could only hear the ocean's waves and your loud thoughts. "I..missed you so much" you whined and sat down in the sand and held your knees to your chest. You felt lost, maybe coming out here was a mistake? "I really hate you Daniel..." you mumbled and looked at the picture of you and your childhood friend, smiling. You sighed "I don't hate you..I'm just mad"
- 'Is that girl okay? Maybe she just wants to be alone? It's too dark to be out alone..'
You stood up and turn around to see a boy, but not just any boy the same boy from earlier, he was a bit taller than you. You both stared at each other for a few seconds, until he broke the silence "Oh it's you.." Your eyes widened "Oh I'm-" he looked down at your hand "Where did you get that?" He asked quietly and you held it up and he calmly took it from you and stared at the photo "Y/n.." he said with a shaky voice and looked up at you. You looked at him and stared tearing up quietly, and he sighed and then grabbed your waist gently and hugged you tightly "I missed you so much y/n.." he said and you hugged him back "I- me too.." he rubbed your shoulder "Don't cry..please.." you huffed "Why didn't you send me any letters? Everyone else from the farm sent one to me..except for you and Sean. I- I don't understand I sent you so many..did you even read them?!" You said looking at him and he looked down "I thought you hated me..after the shit at the farm..I also didn't wanna face you. Sean said this was all a new start.." he said
- 'Shit..she's never gonna forgive me. She probably thinks I fucked up..she has no idea how much I missed her or cared about her..'
You looked at him, your eyes softened and you hugged him tighter "Please don't do that to me again..." He nodded "I promise.." he said and ran his hand through your hair "When I saw you in the store...I thought I was dreaming. You're so different now. We both are.." you chuckled "You have no idea.." you said and felt your phone vibrating again "Ugh..shit I gotta get home" Daniel nodded "I'm walking you" you chuckled and he wiped your tears, you blushed "L-looks like I don't really have a choice.." you managed to say. You both started walking and he pulled something out his pocket "I kept mine with me.." he said showing you the small Polaroid with you kissing him on the cheek. You smiled at him "Wow..we've met each other 3 times now.." you said and he smiled looking down at the photo.
Y/n's House 8:00 pm
You opened your door and looked back at Daniel "Do..you wanna hang out tomorrow? Like when we're kids?" You said and he nodded "Sure. Where tho-" You heard someone speak "Y/n. You're home finally. You had me worried...Oh who's this?" Henry asked raising a brow looking at Daniel, he had a cigarette hanging from his lip.
- 'She has a boyfriend?! So much has changed...He's like Seans age'
You blushed "Henry. This is Daniel..my childhood friend! And Daniel this is Henry my best friend" you said and Daniel hesitantly waved back and so did Henry "Oh. Sorry just looking out for my little sister.." you groaned as he ruffled your hair. Daniel chuckled and looked at you "You'd get along great with Sean..You uh, should come over. Diaz Repair, it's easy to find don't worry." You and Henry nodded "Finally Henry can get some new friends.." you chuckled and he playfully smacked you "I have plenty"
