Rick POV

"Hailey I know I shouldn't ask..." I said stopping her before she began

"But your going to anyways." She sighed

"Hails. You know you can tell me anything and I'll be there for you. I need to know two things first. What happened out there by yourself? Also what happened between you and Shane?" I questioned

"Rick, I can tell you what happened out there many times over, but with Shane...."She trailed off

"Why?" I asked pushing for a response, "You guys were always great together."

Hailey bellowed out a laugh so hard, she had to hold her side, while tears were falling from her eyes.

"Great...perfect together! HA! Whose words were that, Rick? LORI'S?!" She spated at me

　

I cringed when she yelled Lori's name. Not just for the fact that she yelled her name, but this is the first time Hailey mentioned her sisters name, since she found out she was....dead.

　

"If you don't..." I started

"No Rick. You want to know so bad! I'll tell you why I'm so satisfied that you killed him. Why I'm so glad and happy Shane is dead!" Hailey shrieked

　

I pretty much swallowed the toad that was in my throat. Yeah toad not frog because, I know whatever Hailey is about to tell me is going to be big. Also might change my perspective of my used to be best friend and dead wife.

　

Hailey POV

　

I could feel my body trembling already and I haven't even told Rick anything. I don't want to. I never wanted to think about it again. Shane. What a two-face he was. The definition of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Taking small breaths, I sat further back on the small cot, to lean against the wall. Looking out the corner of my eye, I saw Rick's face expression. He had a distraught and terrified look. What I am about to tell him, will change his opinion on his ex best friend and maybe Lori. How she believe Shane over me, her own sister. Shaking my head, I tried to get rid of that thought; but more of the memory came back. The more angry and pissed off I became.
