Zoey’s epic writing (Zoey doesn’t have epic thoughts. Only stupid ones)

Claire’s thoughts (Because Claire always writes boring and obvious shit)

RULES (Which we both must follow or ELSE)

Chapter Two: Rule # 2

If either of us falls so hard that we land flat on our faces and become blind from love, we must warn the other before it's too late(Because Claire can never get a date, she will always have to watch over me) (Zoey is already blind so it wouldn’t help)

Zoey Jensen’s Point of View

“We are going to college!” I sing ever so loudly as I link arms with the blonde girl on my right, tugging her closer to me so that she doesn’t get lost in the crowd. This girl, right here is my best friend. We’ve known each other since forever but we’ve only been friends for about five years? Hey, I thought she hated me at first. She always ignored me and no one ignores me. I’m too awesome to be ignored. It’s a proven fact.

We walk on campus together, both dragging our luggage’s behind as we try keeping up with the large crowd. Hey, I have absolutely no idea where I’m going. I’m merely following the parade of people that are all heading in one direction, praying that they’ll lead us to our desired destination which is the main foyer.

“Everyone is so tall. It’s just not fair!” Claire complains as she stares up in awe at all the passing strangers. Most are at least a foot taller than her and that small fact makes me laugh with pure amusement. “And I eat cheese every day. Shouldn’t that give me some kind of bonus?” She pouts as she looks down at her small frame.

This girl was like a tall giraffe in elementary school and middle school but I guess after grade nine- she stopped growing. Then, it was my time to shine. Almost everyone surpassed her height and instead of being the tallest like she was while she was young, she dropped down to being one of the shortest among her peers. It makes me laugh. Yes, it’s cruel but I laugh at her misery.

“Hey don’t worry. Guys like short girls.”  I wink at her. “And you seriously need a boyfriend. When was the last time you’ve had one? Oh yeah, never!” I roll my eyes. I’ve been trying to find her a guy since sophomore year but she chases all my finds away with her reserved attitude. It’s really stressful when you go through so much trouble to pick out a decent starter boyfriend for your best friend to experiment on and then they simply toss them aside like a worn out toy.

She groans and nudges me on the side. “Not this again, Zoey!” She whines. “I thought I told you. I’m here to focus on my studies. I refuse to be involved with boys.” What a party pooper. I mean come on, studying is only half of what college is all about. The other side is easing up your tension by having a couple of drinks so you can become an outgoing crazy party animal. She is going to loosen up and party with me whether she likes it or not. I’ll even drag her by that frizzy blonde hair of hers if it all comes down to that.

I choose to ignore her comment, not wanting to argue with her anymore because we both know I always get my way.I just want to double date, okay? Currently, I’m in a happy relationship but Claire is constantly nagging me about how she doesn’t trust him. It’s really bothersome. She should be glad I’m not sleeping around like I did in high school.

“Move it! Get out of my way!” I get shoved aside, bumping into Claire’s small body. We both stumble but she manages to catch herself. I glance at the brunette in front of me, the one who stabbed me with her bony elbow. She has a tall man walking alongside her, carrying what looks like five large bags. He’s panting heavily as he tries to keep up with her fast and impatient paces. Poor guy. If I were as big and strong as him, I’d dump that bitch into a trash can and have her rot in there with all the other trash.
