            FIVE
Tears filled his eyes and rolled down the sides of his head. So it was true, he thought, that demons are real and now my little sister...' No! No, no, Kirumi, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry that I didn't come back in time. That I let you fight it by your selves. I'm sorry the demon slayer wasn't here to help you. I'm so sorry. So, so sorry for disappointing you. But Kirumi, I know you're still there and I promise you, I'll change you back. I don't know how but I will..' His voice failed in a strangled cry.' I will because I love you. I love you'. Two drops of tears fell on his cheek, he looked up and noticed his sister crying. Crying.
  It's true about the saying that a stitch in time saves nine because,if Naruki had come earlier- although, Naruki does not have the knowledge or strength to fight or kill a demon, they are after all simple coal sellers and sometimes famers- he'd have been able to protect most of his family and Kirumi would have not turned to a demon. If the demon slayer had come earlier, - now this demon slayer would have been able to fight and kill the demon because demon slayers are trained for that purpose as their name implies, they're given a sword that can cut through a demon and turn it to ashes-  he'd have saved all five members of Naruki's family. But he didn't and they died( all but one) but in a round about way, Nariki did. Yes it's true he didn't save his family, it's true he couldn't save his sister from turning into a demon, but because of his faith and believe; hope, love and grief for her, he brought her back. So in a way he saved all of them through her, because he didn't speak a minute later, he saved her. And their journey together proved that she was still Kirumi, Naruki's little sister, though demon blood ran through her veins, she was still human in her mind, heart; spirit, soul and that's a stitch in time saving not nine but one.
Saving five through one.

A history that was never recorded, a time when a demon and a boy coexisted together in peace.
An perhaps one day her curse will go away, just as winter gives way to spring.
Perhaps.... Perhaps....

Well how was this very short, short story? Hoped you liked it. Don't forget to vote and comment. See you in the funny pages sports! (;
