Chapter 5: Stranger!

As Sasha walked over to Jayden to help him up, a person ran into the alley, he had a blindfold on, but seemed to be able to see anyway, he was wearing a long black cloak with a star on the back, he took off the blindfold and tied it around Jayden's leg, which had a big cut that was bleeding very badly, he took off his hood, revealing himself to be a wolf with black hair and black wolf ears, I looked at his feet and saw that he wasn't wearing shoes, he had paws covered in mud instead, "Hello, Amber, it's great to finally meet you," he reached out his hand, which was also a paw, similar to a raccoon's paw, it was like a hand, but was still a paw, I circled him slowly, the fur he had was black, which includes his paws, tail, and ears. He was still holding out his hand, I looked at it warily, then took it in my hand.

"Nice to meet you, uh?"

"Darius, my name is Darius," he said, giving his tail a shake, it took me a second to realize he was actually being serious about it being great to meet me. Darius looked around my age, he had blood red eyes.

"Wait, how do you know my name?" I asked him, backing away slowly.

"Oh, I'll explain it when Sasha isn't around,"

"Why?" Sasha said, sounding confused,

"That's just how this works, alright?" he looked at me, "Let's get Jayden to the bakery," I looked at him and nodded slowly.

"Right," I picked Jayden up, he wasn't very heavy because we don't eat a lot, and Sasha guided us to the bakery.
