Albert x Jake

Bye bye, Lana~

(Jake POV)
I woke up at 1pm. I yawned a looked over to see that Albert wasn't in bed anymore. The door was open so I assumed he went downstairs. I'm pretty sure Lana was coming home a little earlier today so I was hoping she wasn't already home. I got out of Albert's bed and headed downstairs where I heard the T.V. I reached the end of the stairs and looked over to see Albert watching Stranger Things. I didn't see Lana anywhere so that was good. I grabbed a apple off the counter and headed to sit down with Albert on the couch.
"So, when is Lana coming home?"
He looked up in surprise when he heard my voice.
"O-Oh! You scared me..she's coming home in a hour."
"Okay. Well..in a hour I need you to go upstairs and close your door, okay?"
"Why—?"
"Don't ask."
I sat down and grabbed the remote making Albert give me that "What the hell?!"
Stare.
"What..? I want to watch the Office."
"Oh. Okay."
I turned on the Office and ate my apple. Albert laughed like a maniac every time they did something. It didn't matter what. They could of just walked and he would of laughed.
*58 minutes later*
I looked at the clock and paused the Office. I told Albert to go upstairs and surprisingly he did. I heard footsteps outside the front door and rushed to it. I stood there waiting for Lana to walk in.
"Albert! I'm hom-.."
"Hello..Lana."
"Ugh. Why does it have to be YOU?"
"Because I live here now too. I can do whatever I want whenever I want to."
"Whatever. I'm telling Albert about this morning."
"Heh..again like he would believe you. And if he did he wouldn't care."
There was a long and silent pause.
"IM GOING TO GET RID OF YOU JAKE! IM TIRED OF YOUR STUPID ACTIONS. ALBERT WAS ENOUGH. HE DOESN'T DO ANYTHING AROUND HERE SO I DON'T NEED YOU HERE TO MAKE MY JOB HARDER."
I heard footsteps behind me and I saw Lana's face go pale. I turned around and saw Albert.
"Wow, Lana. I don't do anything around here? It's your decision to clean and cook. You don't have to. I'm not going to give you anymore chances. I think it's time to break up."
"A-Albert! Please..one more chance..I d-didn't mean what I said...you know it was a.....a joke!"
"Sure it was. I'm tired of hearing "joke". I clearly wasn't a joke. I don't have the time or patience for you right now. Go pack and get out of my house."
"Al-Albert...you idiot!"
Lana ran upstairs and I heard shuffling. In a couple minutes she came back down and walked outside slamming the door behind her..never to be seen again. I looked at Albert who's face was pale and he had tears in his eyes. He ran to me and hugged me tightly..or with all of his might. I hugged him back and through his tears I heard.
"You'll stay right...? I don't wanna be lonely..."
"Of course...I will stay!"
We stood there hugging for at least 5 minutes. He let go and told me he was going upstairs to take a nap. I wiped the tears out of his eyes and he left. I was there in the kitchen alone. I went to the fridge and realized we were running low on food. I took a sticky note and wrote "Went to the store, be back in a few." I walked up and opened his door slowly. I put the sticky note on the door and closed it. I walked back downstairs and put on my shoes. I grabbed his car keys and walked outside. I got in his car and turned on the GPS to go to the store...
