Chapter 21

(A/N We will be going back to Artemis for a few paragraphs.)

I woke up to hear Bianca screaming. I rushed over, giving her a hug. "Bianca! What's wrong?" I asked. Her screams turned into tears. " I dreamed that a giant lady made out of dirt was trying to get me to raise her. It was so scary." I felt sorry for her. Bianca was only seven. I had to know why she was down here. I sat Bianca down on her bunk and heard footsteps. "Bianca! Time for your punishments for waking me up, you imbecile!" A harsh voice yelled. I heard Bianca whimper and I stood in front of her. I desperately wanted to hide her with my magic, but I couldn't. My magic was to be used only in life or death situations. I stared a my captor. "You won;t harm her!" I yelled at her. My captor was surprisingly pretty. Not what I expected at all. "Bianca knows what happens when she disturbs me, girl. Now move aside." "No. I refuse to move." I growled, preparing to cast my magic. My captor only laughed. "Very well then. Come here. Now." "I said, I refuse to move. You'll have to come in here if you want to punish me." My captor nodded. "Very well then." She opened the cage door, pointed at me, and I collapsed.

I woke up in a torture chamber. Before I knew what was happening, I heard screaming. I realized it was me who was screaming. Hurry up and save me, guys. I thought, then I blacked out.

(A/N Now we will go to Jason's POV)

I heard a voice in my head and stopped. "What's wrong, Jason?" Elise asked. "Stay here. Don't any of you dare move." I turned to see Elise had already started reading. I ran into the woods, and I heard another voice. The first was Artemis, saying to save her. The second was just a little girl, screaming for anyone to come save them. I shook my head. My brain was messing with me. I turned to go back, when I heard the little girl again, this time even louder. I ran back to the group in time to see Elise battling an empousa. I hate those things. Was that a sword? Where did Elise get a sword? I watched her kill the empousa. "Thanks for the help, Jason." Elise said sarcastically. Her sword morphed back into her book. I pointed. "We need to go that way." Elise just nodded. "Okay then. Let's go." We kept walking, Elise glancing at Nico over the top of her book. I paused, hearing the little girl, the loudest she had ever been. Right after, I heard Artemis too. I summoned my sword and hit the ground with it, hearing a metal door. "It's here. We've found her." I cleared the leaves away and pulled open the door. Screams immediately sounded. I looked at Elise, Nico, and Gloria, then we all jumped in.
