Layla was moving into Georgia's flat today after training. She was a little nervous but exited l. She walked into the car park and met up with g who was exited to see her.
"You ready newbie?"
"No" Layla laughed sarcastically and as they walked in they met up with Ellie and Steph. Nick pulled Layla to one side
"Hey, how's you? You played amazing on camp by the way! Look I know it's a big step I tot he seniors but I know you can do it. Ummm... ye if you have any questions or anything feel free or ask me or any of the girls." Nick gave Layla a hug and they walked into the changing room.
"So guys we have a newbie today from the academy, meet Layla Williams. Some of you know her from the recent England camp. Be nice and ye anyone got any questions?" Layla stood their awkwardly.
"Who's your fav player?" Georgia asked with a massive smile which made veryone laugh.
"Not you g" Layla said and then replied "Your all amazing players I don't have a fav, g I'm joking your at the top but only because I'm living with you know" g laughed and pulled Layla into a jokey hug and all the girls pushed her playfully. Georgia sat down and Layla sat beside her and whispered
"Course it's you, it's never been anyone else" and then lent away and got into her training gear. G smiled and put her boots on and listened to Janines music and everyone laughed at jill Scott's moves.
"Moving in eh?"Steph said whilst walking to the pitch with Layla
"Ye she asked me and it makes sense as I live a good 30 mins away so it's easier" layla looked at the ground
"I'm happy for you. If you need me message me okay? Your family now and we look after eachother" Steph put her arm around the youngster as they walked up to the warm up.
"Kei can we talk?" Layla said as she pulled the midfielder to the side when everyone had a drink
"What's up?"
"I'm kinda nervous to move in with g. Do you think it's the right choice? What if she doesn't actually like me or I annoy her?" Keira giggles and rolled her eyes
"Layla, I've haven't seen her this happy since she had Tilly . She wouldn't ask you if she wasn't 100% sure" Layla was confused
"Who's Tilly?" Keiras face said it all
"Fuck ummm talk to her it's not m place" Layla ran over to g and asked for a chat.
"Who's Tilly?" Georgia's face dropped
"Who told you?"
"It doesn't matter, who's Tilly?"
"She's my kid, she was an accident when I was your age actually, I don't realise until it was too late but I don't regret having her at all but I'm sorry I should have told you but It was never the right time" Layla looked at the floor
"Does she live with you?"
"Ye kinda , well yes she does as her dad didn't want anything to do with us, she's at my parents tho at the moment as she didn't want to come on camp with me I'm picking her up on Friday, I was going to tell you tonight" tears fell from Georgia's eyes
"Don't be sorry m, it's call I've never had a little one running a round before. Do you think she will mind we living with your guys? What if she hates me?" Layla said confused
"She will love you and she won't mind I'm sure. Look I'm sorry we will talk tonight yeah?" G said wiping her eyes and giving Layla a hug. Layla nodded and they ran over to the group.
Later that night they said goodbye to Layla's dad and brother and started to unpack her things. It was a nice flat, three bedrooms and a big lounge and kitchen. Layla couldn't believe she was living here.
"Look about Tilly I will explain... I was in love with this boy. He was a dickhead but I loved him at the time, we had been together for 1 year and then I found out that I was pregnant and I didn't want to abort it but he wanted to. It was the perfect time for me as it was only one game left in the WSL then I will have the summer off so I wouldn't miss games if I had her now. I had her and my boyfriend decided to leave me and never contact me again. Tilly was born and I moved in with Steph and ye last year when Tilly was 3 we moved into this place and she comes everywhere with me so she's going to be there at most england and city camps" Layla laughed and gave g a hug
"I'm happy, she sounds like a character and I can't wait to meet her. Look I'm proud of you , you know that right ? I'm sorry you were put through that but I'm glad your out of it as now you've met me! Isn't it weird how I'm baso still a child tho?" Layla said
"Thanks for making it awkward Layla*thsy smiled* look ye I'm 21 and your only 17 but if your happy then so am I, kei and Luce are 4 year age gap and they are fine. As long as you don't mind looking after Tilly as if she was your own then that's all I ask" g said kissing the midfielder on the head
"Ye it's not weird sorry, love youuuuu" Layla said as they made her bed.
"Tell me about Tilly then" Layla said standing in the doorway of the little girls room
"She's a big character! She's funny and cheeky and everyone says she basically a mini me!! She's cute, very cute and it's hard to say no to her sometimes. She's really loving and she loves fashion and football" Layla smiled.
"Actually my brother has just sent me a pic of Tilly this morning"

"Thanks, actually so you wanna see them all tomorrow as we don't have training ?" Layla smiled and nodded excitedly.
"Okay I will text my brother, they are really close actually it's really cute, wait are you still wearing my hoodie!" Layla smiled and dig herself deeper into Georgia's chest who held legal tighter.
