I Followed A Boy

Episode 26

I didn't know my sister had had such an experience and I was never there by her side.
She was always such a strong person she always wore a smile.

Tonight we laughed and cried but all these brought us closer.

Now it was my turn, I didn't know which to share , so I choose the least personal one.

I decided to tell them about how I was so stupid enough to have fallen for a fraud.
I began and they listened attentively.
" It was about  two weeks into the new year, I saw an Ad online about a singing contest abroad so I decided to try my luck."
" I went to New York without a return ticket only to find that it was a fraud and I had paid for accommodation and everything so I had nothing on me."
" They told me that they would pick me up from the airport but they didn't so I had to join a bus of tourist who were just sight seeing."
" I felt miserable. I didn't know what to do and I was starving. "
" So I decided to spend the night on a bench outside.
" It was cold and someone stole my things while I took a nap, so I chased him but I lost him."
" as I walked back, in front of a bar I saw a man unconscious, I didn't want to get close to him since I didn't want to be in trouble, as I walked away, I felt bad so I went back to help him, I didn't have any money for a cab so I checked his pocket and found a lot of money in his wallet."
"I saw that the watch he was wearing looked classy so I took it."
" I called a cab and I sent him to the emergency Room and left his ID in his pocket after writing his name down on a piece of paper, and left a note apologizing. "
" I bought a plane ticket back to Bangkok and that's the end"

They were listening so attentively so they wanted more.

" was that the watch I forcefully took from you?" My sister asked

" yes, that's the watch" I said pointing at the watch on her wrist.

"Something similar happened to Blake,that's why we're here, this is so funny" Steve commented.

" really!" They exclaimed.

Soon Blake excused himself and soon after Steve received a call and followed.

I wondered why they were gone for so long so I went go look for them.

As I walked through the forest I overheard them talking so I decided to walk away to give them some privacy .

" so you mean Dorm is the one we've been looking for?" I heard Steve ask.

" yes, but he's not a bad person,you heard his side of the story, he helped me" Blake explained.

" But when did you find out?, because you don't look surprised, you've known for sometime now right?" Steve questioned.

" I found out the first time I met his sister, she was wearing my watch" Blake explained.

I couldn't believe it, I was relieved that I had the chance to pay him back.
But I didn't want it to be Blake.

I left and acted like nothing had happened.
Soon we went to bed and it was morning.
In the morning there were thunderstorms so we had to stay in the van instead of the tent.

We were unable to find a place to stay since we didn't reserve any.

" let's go to my mother's house" my sister suggested.

" No let's go to my place " I interrupted.

" come on Dorm , your little condo?" She asked.

" mother's place is better at least we can all have rooms to ourselves. " she added.

" you all can go ,but I'm not going, I'll rather stay at my condominium " I announced.

" Come on we came together to have fun, what's all this? " Rosé complained.
