He yelled as he kicked down the only thing that separated him and I, his seething figure coming into view.↠White is an achromatic colour; a colour without hue. It's said to be the colour of perfection, which was something Edie had always attempted to fulfill. Innocence, she maintained.
Goodness, she tried her best not to betray. Purity, was something she wanted to regain. A successful beginning, was achieved for a while. Faith, was something she held onto. White is opposed to black. Black is not a colour; the absence of light. The colour denotes strength and authority, which was what Zacharias was made of. Power, was what caused his people to fear him. Elegance, made him intimidating.Formality, made him unpredictable at best. Death, was what he caused. Evil, was the wrath he buried deep within. Mystery, was what he embodied. When combined, a neutral is created. Grey is a shade; without colour. It symbolizes the balance between dark and light, which was something unattainable to Zacharias and Edie.
Loss, was what she felt after she was taken away from the only solidity she knew. Control, was what he had over the one thing he should've let run free. Conformity, was her only option. Dispassionate, was his greatest flaw. Compromise was the middle ground. Beauty was revealed; the foundation misplaced.
