"Y/N, please." Your mother had begged. "Please stay, it's dangerous out there! Going out on your own is a big d-" "Mom, I get it. You're worried about me. The recent murders that have been taking place. I get it. But mom, I can take care of myself. I've done it before, and I'll do it again."

 She all but whined, tears starting to leave her eyes as you neared the door. "I'll make sure to call you when I'm at the airport, and when I get to my destination. I love you mom." And with that, you were gone.

~flashback~

It had only been a few weeks ago when you were turned. Walking home from a late night at work when you heard footsteps. When you stopped, they stopped. When you stopped to look around suspiciously, you saw and heard nothing. So you kept walking. When you were going to cut the corner to your road, you were pinned against a cold, brick wall of an alleyway.

You looked up to meet the bright eyes of a pretty- almost flawless- girl. Her eyes blood red, hair so light, it looked almost white as it cascaded down her back. her features were sharp, yet soft, giving off an almost innocent look. The tinkling of a giggle left her throat, making her seem evermore innocent.

"What's a pretty girl like you doing in this part of town? Especially this late at night?" She smirked, her fingers delicately gliding down your jaw, making your breath hitch. A whimper left your lips, tears forming at the corner of your eyes. "I just- I was almost home. Please let me go home. Please." It came out as a mere whisper, a tear falling down your cheek.

"Now now darling, why would I let my dessert go home? I couldn't pass up that delicious smell of yours. Now keep quiet, and I might let you live." And with that, your wrist was in her mouth, and a pain soared through your body. You heard screaming, and realized a little later it was you.

The only thing you could think about was the burn. It felt like you were being burned alive, but drowned at the same time. There was a pressure on your chest, making you feel like you couldn't breathe. The immense burning, along with the pressure was too much for you, so you passed out.

You woke up on the ground of a hidden alleyway, your ears sensitive to sound, and your nose sensitive to smell. The first thing you really noticed was the burn in your throat when a metallic smell filled your nose.

You went towards it, finding yourself in the woods. There, standing in all of its pride, was a mountain lion, and it sure did appeal you. So, when you found the perfect chance, you pounced and bit into it, sucking it dry. You could already feel the burn in your throat subside, but you wanted to have a little bit more of an animal before you came in contact with any human, just in case.

So after you had your fill, you headed home-in the woods after you had seen your skin glimmer in the sunlight- to find your mother's car. You walked into the home, a foul metallic smell filled your nose making you want to coil back. You figured it was the smell of human blood-more specifically your mother's blood- which made you sigh in relief.

Human blood made you sick.

~flashback over~

You slipped into your red Lykan Hypersport (picture above) with ease and drove off. You knew you could have stayed here with your mother no problem, knowing she wouldn't judge you or call you a monster or degrade you, but the people at school would notice your differences. You had already slimmed up greatly from the few weeks you've been different, your eyes are now an orange color, your hair shiny and soft and healthy looking, and you had curves in all the right places. You were different. That was okay.

Seeing the airport, you pulled into the area that was going to make sure your car got to Forks safely, grabbed all your needed belongings, handed your keys to a chauffeur and tipped them while smiling politely, and walked into the airport.

The first thing you had done was quickly call your mother, reassuring her you had gotten there safely and that you would call her as soon as you got to your new home. After your phone call, you bought an iced coffee-even though it had almost a bitter taste to it when you turned, you would never stop drinking it- and sipped on it lightly.

When you finished drinking your coffee, you threw it away and quickly walked to the gates when they called your plane. They checked you and you were cleared, you smiling at the officers politely. You noticed people were staring at you oddly, but you payed no mind.

Once you got on the plane and they explained everything, you sat back and closed your eyes. You were quite excited to see what Forks had in store, but from what you've heard, it was quite boring there. Trees, almost never sunny, quiet and welcoming, and the new place you'll call home for a long time.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The plane had landed, and you quickly got out of there. You grabbed what small amount of luggage you had and left the airport. You were going to walk to your new home. A walk seemed nice. So you texted your mother telling her you didn't have time to call then, so you'd call later and you loved her.
You wonder what Forks has in store for you.
