Your Location (Tododeku angst)

May I

~Midorya's POV~
We arrive at the dance a lot later than I expected. We're right on time, but we left so early, I expected them to still be setting up when we got here. I guess we took our time walking. We walk through the gates of UA, and I feel myself begin to blush. I'm at a dance with Shoto Todoroki. Literally. I'm so tempted to grab his hand, but I stick my hands in my pockets and keep walking. I can't ruin this. But what if I did...?

~Todoroki's POV~
The flashing lights and loud music hit me like a wall, and for a moment I want to turn back and go home. Apparently the panic shows on my face, because Midorya smiles at me comfortingly. I give a half smile back and lead him to a table. The only other student here is Iida, so there's really no point in dancing. Instinctively I pull out a chair for Midorya. For a split second I panic, until I see his face. Is he blushing? I'd better go get us some punch.

~Midorya's POV~
Todoroki comes back with drinks, and we chat for a bit. He doesn't talk much at school, so it's great getting to know him a little more. I actually saw him genuinely laugh for the first time. The way his head tilted forward and his eyes crinkled made my heart melt. Before I knew it the gym was packed, and the dance floor was overflowing. Mina was in the middle, of course. I didn't really feel like dancing to the hip-hoppy song that was playing, and I assume Todoroki didn't either. I just sat back and started to fiddle with the plastic table cloth. Suddenly, the dance music stopped, and a slow song came on. After a second I heard the scraping sound of chair against floor and looked up to see Todoroki standing, with his hand outstretched.
"May I have this dance, Midorya?"
